Homemade lacing cards

Homemade lacing cards

Homemade lacing cards are not only a great craft activity or colouring in activity for kids, you will also be helping to build kids' hand motion skills. You can add this homemade toy to a toddler busy bag.

What you need:

Activity:

Making your own lacing cards couldn't be simpler. All you have to do is print out one of the printables above and then trace it onto cardboard or foamboard. Any old cardboard will do. You can even do some recycling craft by using an old cardboard box!

Your child can colour in the lacing card themselves to make it really special and unique.

Cut it out and then punch holes all along the border of the shape.

A lacing card will keep your child busy in the doctor's waiting room, long car trips, plane trips or anywhere else you need them to sit still and focus.
