Activity:

Rip the tissue paper or serviettes into little pieces and place them in a bowl.

Cover the paper with water and let it soak for a few minutes.

Once the paper is really soft, place it in a blender and whizz until it is mushed up.

Scoop out the paper from the blender and place it on a kitchen towel.

Place another kitchen towel on top of the paper and press down firmly to soak up the excess water.

Keep patting with paper towel until as much water as possible has been absorbed.

Spread the tissue paper or serviettes out in a square shape and place a piece of paper towel on top. Using a low-heat iron, iron the tissue paper through the paper towel. Let the coloured paper dry properly over night.

It is now ready to be used as paper.
