Have fun this April Fools' Day with a maths code puzzle that will result in a funny answer to a joke. Before long, you'll not only have practised your maths, but be laughing together at the answer.

What you need:

  • computer with internet access
  • printer
  • paper
  • pen or pencil

First, print out the tricked out maths worksheet.

Get your friends to play along with our tricked out maths sheet.

By figuring out the maths problems, you'll also sort out the answer to the joke: "What happened to the foolish tap dancer?"

The code for the answer is listed in the print out below. Number 1 corresponds to the first letter in the answer and you fill in the corresponding letters in order until you get to the last letter, which is number 16.
