What does it feel like wearing them?

Do I wear these with a tampon, cup or pad?
Modibodi are a complete replacement for other leak management products. There is no need to use anything else in conjunction with them, even on your heaviest days. With absorbency options ranging from super light through to maxi-24hrs, you can feel confident every day, flow or no flow!

Do I need to wash them before wear?
Yes, we recommend putting them through the wash before the first time you wear them to help to activate the technology in the gusset.
Care guide
Step 1. Wash before wear! We recommend popping them in the wash before the first wear to activate the tech in the gusset.
Step 2. Rinse in cold water after use <30° Do not soak, just rinse until the water runs clear!
Step 3. Cold wash (now or later). In a delicates bag is even better!
Step 4. Hang dry. Reuse. Repeat! Go you eco warrior!
Step 5. Hold the fabric softener. This reduces the product’s function!

Wow what a game changer!! My 13 year old daughter loves her Modibodi Red period underwear! She experiences very heavy periods and usually changes her pads up to 4 x a day and has sadly had to deal with leaks before. Since using the 24 hr Modibodi Red underwear she has not had to change underwear during the day and pads are a thing of the past! She also feels 100% confident when playing netball now.
Complete game changer. [Our teen] used to wear both a tampon with a pad for security! She said she slept all night and was surprised to see there was no leakage in the morning. She decided to try with her school uniform and has since asked we purchase more so she never has to use a pad again. We are very happy and are looking forward to spending way less on sanitary items. The security of not leaking on heavy days gives her peace of mind she won’t be subject to any embarrassing moments.

Wow what a game changer!! My 13 year old daughter loves her Modi Bodi Red period underwear!!! She loves them so much it was a struggle to get a photo sooner for the review. She experiences very heavy periods and usually changes her pads up to 4 x a day and has sadly had to deal with leaks before. Since using the 24 hr modi bodi red underwear she has not had to change underwear during the day she wears them and pads are a thing of the past! She also feels 100% confident when playing netball now if she has her period and wearing these, this was a massive worry for her before. Will definitely be purchasing more and highly recommend to anyone who has a period ♥️ Thanks Kidspot for letting her try these and making a difference.

Thank you so much for the opportunity to trial these. My daughter is extremely active and does numerous extra curricular activities. She also suffers from very heavy and painful periods and has recently been diagnosed with endometriosis. She was very hesitant to try these and 1st off actually used them as extra protection with a tampon. She was surprised they worked and no leakage even when the tampon did, so month 2 she decided to try them by themselves and was super impressed that she could go through a whole day or a whole night with no leakage.

The underwear are a very comfortable piece of clothing that make me excited to wear. They are soft and don’t make me feel like I have my period while wearing. The product is easy to clean and am happy to say I can go multiple hours of wearing making my period an easy mess free day.

First of all, we were very grateful to trial these! My 11 year old is very closed off when discussing her period and absolutely hates having to change her pad at school as she feels incredibly self conscious. The period underwear has made her feel so much more confident in being at school or in public when she has her period. They have also helped avoid any period accidents. She has mentioned that they are a bit too tight around the top of the leg/bottom area but I think this is more due to her sudden growth over the last 2 months! We will definitely be looking to buy some modibodi underwear – for both of us!!
My 16 yr old daughter received the Modibodi RED Period Underwear, Hipster Boyshort style in youth 14-16, colour black. At first the style looked too big but upon trying them on she LOVED them as ‘short style’ and said they were comfortable and they fit well so the size guide was perfect. We popped in to the wash pre use as per directions and dried on the line. Thanks Kidspot & Modibodi – I’ve always wanted her to try these out.

My daughter was excited to try these given that she doesn’t want to try tampons and describes wearing a pad like a “nappy” and feels very self-conscious at thought of any noise coming from her when wearing pads.
Obviously there were no issues with this for Modibodi Red which she loved and described as feeling like just normal underwear in terms of comfort. As far as cleaning goes this was extremely easy too where she washed these in the laundry tub then washing machine.
I will be investing in more of these for her to make life so much easier for her!
My daughter got her period the day before we were due to go away on holiday in January of this year. I was well prepared and had brought her a cup, tampons and pads – but much to my surprise she would only use a pad. I decided not to push and have let her make her own choices. Her periods only last four days and appear perfectly on the same day each month (lucky). Her school only swam twice a week during summer so has only had to miss a couple of swimming days. But I think she may have to look at different options as we get closer to summer.
When I received the Modibodi’s she was a tad apprehensive. I washed them and dried in the airing cupboard – pity can’t use in dryer. I was very keen to see how they worked as I am also considering trying them. She has just finished her cycle and wore it on the first day and the last day of her period.
Her feedback is: they felt really soft and comfortable. I was a little nervous at first but I had no issues with them at all. I was worried my friends would know, but they didn’t and I completely forgot all about them and carried on with my day. I will definitely be using them again in the future and turns out one of my friends also uses them.
I will be buying more of these as it did give her confidence. She cleaned them in the bath and then put in washing machine without any worries. What a marvelous idea! I will also be buying some.
My daughter is 16 and has had her period since she was 10. I really wish she had been able to have these since then!
She was a bit nervous at first to use these at school so tried them overnight – and they were a huge success. She is terrified of wearing tampons overnight because she has heard toxic shock horror stories so these were a ‘safer’ option as there is no risk of the padding getting crooked and out of place during the night, or bunching, like pads do.
She is a woman’s size 12 and the youth size14 were comfy and fitted. I suspect they would fit a 10 just as well.
She is very environmentally conscious so loved these – and also loved that she didn’t have any sanitary products to dispose of.

Well what a game changer! With a young one only just starting this journey being selected to trial the ModiBodi Tween range was amazing. She tried them on and commented on how soft and comfortable they were. She felt very supported and said that they didn’t feel as bulky as she thought they might. She said she would feel more comfortable wearing these to school to save the embarrassment of leakage or changing sanitary items at school. Washing and drying them were super easy too and they washed up well, ready to be used again. And environmentally friendly, which is super important not only for the environment but also for our girls bodies to not be exposed to additional bleaches and chemicals. We were both excited to have these arrive. I think these are a really great environmentally friendly product which also more user friendly for teens. They seem quite thick but actually sat fine and didn’t bunch. My teen said they were soft, comfortable and they didn’t leak or be visible under clothes. They seem high quality fabric and washed and dried easily. I am looking to buy more of these so my girls can wear these during their periods fulltime.
Thank you for allowing my daughter to trial these fantastic period underwear! She has never had boyleg underwear before so I thought she may find them alil strange feeling but she says they are extremely comfortable and dont ride up at all. She has heavy periods and found that they coped very well with no leaks at all. Such a game changer from pads which she struggles with. She was able to rinse them clean herself and pop in the wash with the normal clothes. She couldnt wait for them to dry and get back into them lol. I’m so pleased to see her confidence grow with wearing these and have since purchased more for her as likes them so much. She can now wear them on those just incase days with no worries of been caught out. I highly reccomend them for anyone wanting comfort and practicality
My daughter tried these on and thought they were very comfortable even with all the padding and we’re not noticeable when worn .At first she thought because of the padding people may be able to notice you’re wearing them with a pair of jeans but of course you couldn’t she tried them at home first and was amazed how well they worked no leaking at all. They also are very easy to wash and dry they will definitely be used a lot thanks for giving her the chance to try them
We have received Modibodi Period underwear and my teen tried it on the weekend. At first my daughter said it’s feels a bit “weird” but after some times it just feels like normal undies. The material is soft and comfortable for her. She likes how the underwear fits her and makes her feel more confident that this special undies will help with the leaking issues. Plus we will save money and the environment as we can re-use it and no need to buy the period products. The washing part is also easy as after rinse, we can put it on the washing machine. I must say this period underwear is a really game changer and wish this was available when I started my period too 😀
I have a young tween just at the beginning stages of beginning her cycle. Sadly we have a family history of endometriosis and although hopefully my beautiful girl won’t share this trait I’m preparing for it all the same. I would love for her to have the opportunity to trial this product, it will give her some extra security on those heavy days in her school uniform. She would fit a youth 10-12

Yes please I have a 12 year old daughter who would love to try these, we have seen many brands of these and heard of Modi Bodi period underwear but I have been apprehensive to buy them because I have been unsure if they really are as easy and effective as advertised, my daughter has really wanted to try these

Yes please, Kidspot – I would love for my daughter to have the opportunity to trial Modibodi RED period underwear. I think they would give her so much more confidence and comfort during her period – it’s such a tricky transition for tweens. The boyshort style would also suit perfectly. It’s so great that there are more reusable options becoming mainstream now – how I would have loved for these to have been around when I was her age! I now use reusable menstrual products, and would never go back – such a game changer. She would be a youth size 10-12 please.

Miss 13 would love the opportunity to try Modibodi Red Period underwear after hearing good things from her bestie at school. We have just had a look online at the different brands but being part of this trial would be the perfect way to help her decide if they will meet her period needs.
My daughter hasn’t started her period yet but she has classmates who have started period so she has been very curious about it and asked me questions about it. So I think if I can have a trial product, it can help me to explain period to her better. Furthermore, her class will have a puberty education session soon and I’m thinking maybe it’s a good idea to take a sample of this product to the session to let more tweens and their mums (or dads) know about Modibodi RED period underwear. Another important reason is it’s so environmental friendly and handy and I’m very attracted by it myself! So once I find out it works well, I should definitely buy some for myself! : D
