Clear the air at home

We generally think of home as a haven from the pollutants in the air outside however a surprising amount of  the allergens and pollutants in the air outside make it in to our homes.

In addition, we inadvertently generate a range of odours, fine particles, allergens and pollutants inside our home, meaning the air we live and sleep in can be even more polluted than the air outside.

Enhancing indoor air quality and making our homes a healthier place to live is important for the many Kiwi families who have someone who suffers from asthma, allergies or hayfever.

How clean is the air in our home?

When we throw open the doors and windows to air out our homes, we get rid of the stale air but also end up inviting in the pollutants that are in the air outside. Modern living also creates a number of fine particles, odours, chemicals – paint and synthetic flooring and furniture can emit gaseous chemicals or substances.

Moisture created by simply breathing, cooking, showering and drying things like damp towels, can easily go on to create mould which emits allergenic spores. Pet dander, indoor plants and flowers, candles, and cleaning products can also pollute the air.

Purify the air

Panasonic are proud to introduce their advanced purification called nanoe™X.

nanoe™X  is a system that uses fine particle ions generated from moisture in the air to form tiny particles from electrically charged water molecules.

These molecules spread around the room, keeping the air fresh and clean in your home by deactivating unpleasant odours, inhibiting the growth of certain allergens, bacteria and viruses.  Combined with the Mild Dry Cooling function, it’ll also help retain moisture in your skin.

As an asthmatic, this sounds incredibly good. My asthma is triggered by pollen, dust and other things like that so I imagine this could be pretty useful. I might have a look into it!

I have not heard of this before nor do I know anyone that has one. It sounds like this would be good for people that have asthma or hay fever. I think its effect on mould, bacteria and viruses also make it a good investment.

I like it that it’s energy saving too. And what it does for health in the long run is worth looking into as an investment.

This is.such a good thing and I would love to have this in my home in the near future, we are always airing our home but this would help to lear it of those outdoor allergens that creep in when our house is open.

Wow, i love this… so good to have this as an option for our home one day… we feel quite unhealthy in a home that feels dusty and needs fresh air… what a cool idea…

Our Landlord put a heat pump in our apartment about a year ago, it’s a Panasonic and has the Nanoe X filter – I think it does make a difference to the air in our home and well worth buying 🙂

This sounds like a great thing to have for purified air in your house. I have respiratory problems so this sounds like a great thing to research more into. Great information and once again our proud brand Panasonic. Always a brand everyone can trust.
