Space Place has different planetarium shows throughout the day and you can book for a particular show by calling ahead. Recline back on special chairs to take you into our skies and space in a digital dome theatre.

Most shows have a special live sky tour so whether it is day or night you will be able to explore the stars. As part of entry you can also explore the exhibition with a purpose-built space station for children to play, Maori lore video and a gallery of amazing New Zealander’s who have influenced space science.

What better way to encourage your family to be adventurers and view our world than to step out of our planet to explore the Universe and beyond.
