Baby Shark singing toys are coming

Just when you thought it was safe to go back into the toy box … the Baby Shark phenomenon has taken a scary turn!

Singing Baby Shark plush toys

Toy company Wowee has created plush Baby Shark, Mommy Shark and Daddy Shark toys that sing that oh-so-catchy tune when you give them a squeeze.

The good news? They haven’t hit NZ toy shelves yet and the 15th December release date means no one will be “surprising” your little one with a Christmas gift that you will be ripping the batteries out of 15 minutes after it is unwrapped. The bad news? The toys are available on Amazon so this summer is definitely not going to be a shark-free zone!

If you just can’t get enough of that Baby Shark song (or you’re seeking revenge for that time someone bought a drum set for your child), find out more on the Wowee website.

Cute! My son was given some togs with sharks on them, not baby shark related at all but he calls the his baby shark togs. Its amazing how things penetrate daily life in so many ways

That is so cute! I think I introduced Baby Shark to our Playcentre group way ahead before it got this famous and now other moms would tag me about Baby Shark renditions, memes and now this. The best one so far was the one that James Corden did with Josh Groban and Sophie Turner.

Oh no way!!!! That song is so catchy lol I used to sing it so bloody much with the kids. The baby shark challenge was so funny when you would see them all on Facebook especially the run away part lol and they were running around a car lol 😂. Sorry but if this is on my kids wish list next year it’ll be getting crossed off lol. Would drive me insane I feel.

No, I love the song and it always makes me smile but it’s so catchy and you end up with it stuck in your head for days. This toy would be a nightmare!

Haha. We aren’t too over exposed here. My youngest discovered the song about 4 months ago and still I dont think I have heard it more than 10 times. Lucky right? These toys could be fun and I’m not too bothered by noisy toys but they would have to stay in their bedroom 😂

My daughter is 2 and absolutely LOVES this song! I am not sure how much they are planning to charge or one of these toys but no doubt it will be expensive so I can safely say we won’t be purchasing one for her which I’m sure won’t be the end of the world 😛

I definitely do not want this one in the house 🙂 singing the song ourselves is more than enough.

LOL – this is awesome! The kids love Baby Shark so why not get the toy?? I actually don’t mind annoying toys, yes even when given to my daughter haha. I think it’s pretty cute and you must admit – very catchy!!! 🙂
