Thank you very much for sending these yummy products to try… I have never paid attention to those while shopping at the supermarket but now they become a must whenever we are on the hunt for snacks.. It is perfect for lunchbox and snacks on the go… No mess and healthy at the same time. My boy loves to add the fruits to his morning muesli… I added those to a cheese board and everybody asked me about them… Really fancy… We will absolutely would buy them again and would recommend them to friends.
These products were so yummy and convenient. Before this trial, I have heard Apple NZ products and always enjoyed their funky packaging. Out of the two products we received for the trial, my kids and I enjoyed the mixed bag the most as there was a bit of everything for everyone. My two girls loved the apple sticks and strawberries in the bag the most and I enjoyed the kiwi fruit. They were crunchy, tangy and satisfied our sweet cravings. It’s unbelievable how nothing is added to it! Our favourite supermarket around is countdown so I would love to see more of the brands products there. Purchasing online would also be convenient and would be nice if shipping was free over a certain amount purchased as well. Other products from the brand that I would like to buy now are the fruit noodles as they look so fun and I’m sure my girls would love the look of them. Healthy foods that look nice always encourage our girls to eat them. The apple purée would also be a nice addition into my baking. I would definitely recommend these products to people around me as they are so tasty and fun. I think these products would suit any family regardless of whether they have kids or not as they are a great all rounder snack! 😊
Such great products! Tasted delicious and perfect for a healthy snack and for lunchboxes. The great thing about it being freeze dried is that they last a longboard time so there’s no wastage like fresh fruit! The freeze dried berries were delicious and tangy.

My daughter loved the applesticks to eat as a snack but wasn’t so keen on the fruit medley. I found the fruit medley great for crushing up and adding to baking, or home made meusli. Overall a great product!
It was a consensus; everyone who tried this freeze dried fruit loved it! When I asked for opinions, it was a resounding “Delicious!” Even my fussy son thoroughly enjoyed them, especially the apple sticks. He’s going to save up his pocket money and buy a pack all to himself, lol. My nephew liked the kiwifruit because it’s tangy, and he loves sour things.
I had heard of NZ Apple products, because my daughter has adored fruit hitz pouches for years, and I like the apple rings, but I had never heard of freeze dried fruit before. They’re new and different and crunchy. I’m a fan! I’ll definitely be buying these from Countdown. I’d like to try the fruit noodles next.
I would definitely recommend these to anyone and everyone. The packaging is easy to get into, resealable; they’re a healthy alternative to fried snacks, and they’re so delicious and moreish!
A great little snack idea to have on hand. My boys, 3 & 7 both loved these. The Apple sticks were their favourite. I am always on the hunt for healthy snacks for home and lunch box and these are great.
I had heard of NZ Products prior to this trial
Myself and my children loved these tasty and healthy snacks. We loved the freeze dried kiwifruit the most as it was super tasty and sweet.
I would be happy to purchase the New Zealand Apple Products from the online store, however my preference would be to buy them from the supermarket. It would also be great to have these healthy products available at childrens events, such as movies in the park and the Easter Show.
I have purchase the fruit pouches from this company which are very popular in our household.

We were super lucky to get selected to try these products. We heard of them at the Baby Show in Wellington last year. My son liked the Medley better (he was a super fan of the golden kiwi!!!) as he is not into apple at all, but then we used that as a healthy snack for the adults.
I’ve seen it that they sell them at Countdown and we will be shopping them for sure in the future from there as I usually don’t do groceries online shopping and since they’re in my supermarket it’s pretty convenient.
We have tried some fruit pouches from this company as well as the Applesauce and we use them mainly for baking.
I would definitely recommend this product, not only as it’s a Kiwi compan and you’ll be supporting local but also they’re super healthy, just made of fruit. A win win for kids and parents.
These were a huge hit with Master 3. The huge hit probably even being an understatement. He loves them. Has been asking for them at every opportunity. Funny story, one day after daycare he had sneakily taken the packet of apple sticks and his in the bathroom leaning against the door stuffing his face with them, he’s never done anything like that before, I told him not to help himself to things this way and he was like but they’re so yummy and my favourite though, then proceeds to the kitchen and pulls put a giant bowl and asks for lots and lot, there wasn’t a lot left by this point so gave him the lot. Will absolutely be buying these again. He also love the fruit medley, especially the strawberries. Love how they are completely natural. Heck, I even tried some and they’re so moreish. My boy absolutely loved these and we have already purchased more they are great in the lunch box and don’t go yuck and can fit alot in I love how the packs are resealable to keep them fresh for longer not that they last long around my kids the packets are bright and easy to read
I have trouble getting my youngest to eat any kind of fruit especially in a lunchbox but these come back eaten every time!
They taste crunchy and sweet with a little bit of a tang to the berries. I’m so glad we have discovered these they are a great way to add a bit of fruit to lunchboxes especially when things are out of season. They also make a great addition to baking 🙂

My 3 boys (9,7,2) were super excited to try the New Zealand apple products we received in the mail! My youngest loves the freeze dried apple, the older two however loooved the mixed fruit! The raspberries especially as they were really sour! Whole freeze dried strawberries were also a hit!

before so was excited to try these as another option for a snack for my daughter. I had hoped that she would enjoy these, however she was not really a fan. I really enjoyed both the apple sticks and fruit medley, but definitely prefer the medley, due to the variety and extra bite in the fruit.
I love that the pack is resealable, so the fruit didn’t go soft. The packs are nice and bright with plenty of info on the back. I haven’t seen these in store as yet, but after looking at thier online store, I see I can get them at my local pak n save, so will be looking next time I go.
Definitely keen on trying some of thier other products, more freeze dried fruit and the noodles sound interesting. Have already recommended these to some friends and if I can’t find instore, will look at purchasing online. Hoping to convince my daughter to have another try, otherwise more for me.

Before this trial we had not heard of New Zealand Apple Products before nor had I noticed them in supermarkets.
We preferred the Apple Sticks the most, they were the right amount of sweet & tasted good, I ddnt mind the fruit medley but neither of my kids 3 & 6 enjoyed this one saying it was sour & bitter.
If we were to buy again, mainly the fruit sticks would be good to see them in supermarkets.
We would consider purchasing from the New Zealand Apple Products online store dependant on pricing & shopping costs
Unsure what other products this company might come up with but if it appealed we would look at buying them.

Oh wowl what can I say my kids loved these products and I will definitely be purchasing for the lunch boxes and snacks after school. Considering my two are so picky it’s great to know that this is a healthy snack that they will eat and enjoy 😉

I have never seen or heard of these until I received them
I was unsure what to expect but what a great surprise when I opened the fruit medley bag delicious big pieces of fruit and the kids loved them so bright and colourful, my 3 year old said they were so good and he is usually a picky eater!
I added them to his Weetbix in the morning which he enjoyed too.
I really liked the apple sticks one of those snacks you can’t stop eating taste better than a fresh apple!
I would definitely purchase from the online store, but will check to see if my Countdown supermarket has these
Absolutely recommend these it’s a fun alternative to eating fruit and great for school and kindy lunchboxes, perfect mess free snack for the car too.

I hadn’t heard about New Zealand Apple products before this trial. I like the Fruit Melody best as the mix of flavours was tasty, my daughter enjoyed the Apple Sticks more as the Fruit Melody was a bit sour for her tastes but still enjoyed trying the different fruits in the Melody.
I hope to see these products available in all the supermarkets. I may purchase them from the New Zealand Apple Products store if shipping isn’t too much. I would consider purchasing other products from the company like the Freeze Dried Mixed Berry or Apple Chips for lunch box snacks and to add to desserts.

With a family of fussy eaters and with children who’s tastes seem to change our a whim, fruit is constantly being wasted in our house. We hadn’t tried dried fruit before, and to be honest, I hadn’t really explored which products were available. Having not heard of New Zealand Apple Products, we were super excited to be chosen to review them, and see if they could resolve some of our fruit-based woes.
Both the kids and adults in our house loved both packets of fruit, however my kids slightly preferred the fruit medley, just for the variety of fruits within the pack. I loved how easy they were to give as a snack, and fitted easily into both of my kids’ lunchboxes. I also loved the apple sticks as there was next to no mess (the berries in the fruit medley gave the kids slightly purple hands, but nothing compared to the mess of eating fresh berries). Most importantly, there was no waste, as there was something for everyone in the packs, and being dry, it wasn’t going to go bad or get bruised.
Having been given the opportunity to try both of these products, we are really keen to try more, and will definitely be looking for the rest of the range in our local supermarket, where we would really want to see them. In particular, my hubby really loved the berries in the fruit medley, so I will be looking to get him a pack of the berry medley to keep in his desk for long-lasting healthier snacking. I would definitely also be happy to purchase from the New Zealand Apple Products online store. The fruit was very well packaged and was in perfect condition when it arrived, so I know any order I made would be in very safe hands.
Overall, we have loved these products and will be seeking them out to add them to our regular snack line-up. I would recommend them to all of my family and friends looking for a healthy and low-mess snack without having to compromise on quality, taste and nutrition.

So my kids master 11 and master 13 when not a fan of the mixed fruit, 🙄
‘ the taste was nice, when you first bite into it, but has a strange after taste, I’m not use to these kind of fruits,’ Master 13′ it would be good for kids that like different fruits, I like apples’
As a parent I liked the apples chips 😋and fruit medley has a neat variety of fruit, would be awesome to see a fruit salad medley(my kids might like that one 🤔)
There is plenty in the bag, great that it’s New Zealand fruit👍 great flavour – the fruit have held there flavour very well, I found them very moreish 😄😋I would buy them from a supermarket (small snack packs would be great for lunchboxes)
We are so lucky to have the opportunity to try on New Zealand Apple Product as we haven’t heard about it before this trial. At first glance, both of the products looks very attractive with the vibrant packaging and bold font. But, when we opened the package, the apple sticks were thicker than expected due to the illustration on the front. Nevertheless, the snack was very crunchy and crispy. It was sweet yet tangy, making it very appetising. The apple flavour delivered splendidly. Furthermore, the snack goes very well with ice cream apart being the healthy snack in the lunchbox or after school. The downside was, however, that the apple core didn’t look very appealing and didn’t have the best texture. Even so, we definitely enjoyed it and would eat it again! 🙂
Between the Apple Sticks and Fruit Medley, we like the Apple Sticks the best because we found the Fruit Medley is a bit too tangy and the texture of the blueberries weren’t very nice. I guess I will prefer to buy the products from the supermarkets like Countdown or Pak n Save, as I hardly buy food online. The next product I would like to try will be the Apple Chips and definitely can’t wait to introduce the products to friends with young kids and baby!
New Zealand Apple Products
We got to try the Freeze Dried Apple Sticks and the Fruit Medley. Mum and Mr 17 quite liked the apple sticks. They were surprisingly sweet and crunchy. Very moreish, and great for a healthy little snack. Miss 11 was a bit fussy and didn’t like them. She did like the blueberries and the strawberry in the fruit medley, but was disappointed that there was only 1 strawberry! I thought the apple sticks in the fruit medley were nice with the little dusting of powder from the berries. We all thought kiwifruit and boysenberries were a bit tangy and our least favourite.

I’d not heard of NZ Apple Products before this trial. And boy am I glad I got a chance to review! What a refreshingly different, tasty and healthy way to snack. Our family actually liked the Freeze Dried Apple Sticks the best – they were sweet and crunchy and very moreish. The Fruit Medley was nice as well, an interesting mix of flavours, some more tart/sourly sweet than others. Absolutely love the fact that they are 100% natural – no preservatives, additives or other nasties. And they look really good too – check out my photos – who wouldn’t want to eat these!
It would be great if these could be purchased at the local supermarkets (eg Pak n Save, Countdown). I haven’t seen them on the shelf yet and would be keen to know if that is in the works. I’d also consider purchasing them online, so long as its environmentally friendly (so not too much plastic packaging etc).
I haven’t looked into the other NZ Apple Products on offer before now, but their website has an interesting Fruit Noodle option that we are keen to try.
I highly recommend NZ Apple Products – they were a real hit with the family, young and the young at heart.

Apple sticks because they’re easy to hold especially for small hands. They have a great flavour and a nice crunch to them. I preferred the fruit medley because of the different fruits/flavours.
Q3. Where would you like to buy this product from? Snack aisle at the supermarket (Pak n Sav) if I only wanted a packet or two or direct online (then could buy a bulk box at once)
Q4. Would you purchase from the New Zealand Apple Products online store? Yes. Would be great to have the option to buy a bulk box eg 8 packets in a box because they have a long shelf life and would be better value for money.
Q5. Would you purchase other products from this company? if so, which ones? Definitely! The fruit pouches would be great for mixing in with the kids porridge. Apple chips would be great alternative to potato chips in school lunch boxes too.
Q6. Would you recommend New Zealand Apple Products to friends and family? 100% would recommend. I love how they’re a natural product. Free from all the “nasties”. The ingredients is just pure fruit. Love that they’re New Zealand fruit and its all made here in NZ. The freeze dried range is so light it’s great to take as snacks when on day hikes or snacks when on the sidelines at sport.
We were so blessed to be chosen for this review & my 3yr old hasn’t had freeze dried anything before so I was keen to see what he thought. After reading some reviews on the kids being put off by the smell I decided to open the pack & select an assortment in a container for him & oh my gosh he LOVED IT. The crunch of the fruit & then melting on his tongue had him in fits of giggles. So big thumbs up from him. Hubby & I thoroughly enjoyed them too (the strawberries were a firm favourite with wishes of more than the 5 or 6 we found in our bag) I was a bit surprised to see some full apple cores in the apple sticks pack however we weren’t too fussed and hubby munched on them anyway.

Thanks for letting us review this awesome product! Our delivery was a bit late due to being rural but once we got it in the mail my 3 year old was so excited to try them! The packaging is bright and inviting and I like that it is resealable so we can save it to snack on at another time. I had never heard of New Zealand apple products before and not seen them at my local supermarket! I’ve since looked online and found them at our countdown, which I don’t do my main shop at. I’d love to see it in my new world! I don’t think I’d buy direct from the online shop as it doesn’t seem convenient. I’d be interested to try the fruit noodles next as the flavours sound yum. I’ve recommended this already to a friend and her 1 year old who both love it! Would happily recommend to others in the future, as we would definitely buy this again – maybe as more of a treat.
Now this product makes a toddler very happy. I have never heard of the product before, but what a great discovery, and thank you Kidspot for letting us trail it. We received the apple sticks and mixed medley, and it was sooo yummy, between dad and our girl it was a fight who gets the last bite. Would love to buy it in our local supermarket. Will buy it from the online store, but would prefer it in the supermarket, as I don’t like paying for delivery on top of the cost of a bag. However I would love to try the rest of the products on offer and will definitely recommend to friends and family.
It was great to try this product as I hadn’t heard of NZ Apple Products before. These arrived on my son’s 4th birthday so he was excited to try some new treats! He chose to try the Fruit Medley first. He loved these especially the blackberries and apples in it. They were great to take out and about during a busy day. We look after one of his buddies once a week , by then my son has demolished the fruit medley so I added some apple sticks to a platter for them to share. The apple sticks were a hit and there was much competition for them. I would definitely buy these again. I would love to see these in my supermarket but am happy to buy online. I think my son would love to try the fruit noodles as well so will definitely buy those at some stage. What great products. My 4.5 and 2.5 year old literally devoured them within 24 hours. They had a mixed plate of everything for dinner on the day they arrived and they were the first thing to go! Remaining part of the packs were put in lunchboxes and not a crumb came home! Mine both loved these and the variety of fruit in the mixed bag is awesome. I personally got a few apple sticks in and would give these a go (if my kids gave me the chance!) Would love to see these products at Four Square, I often go there for a small mid week lunchbox top up and wouldn’t think twice about getting these. Would like to see more in the pack as between my 2, they were gone very quickly! I have previously tried their apple rings too which my little one really enjoys. Would love to try three fruit hitz pouches and interested to see three fruit noodles! Will be keeping an eye out for them.
