A fun and easy dinner to make on the weekend, these spaghetti toasties are whipped up quickly in the oven. You can also substitute spaghetti for baked beans.
- 1 tbsp butter
- 6 slices of fresh bread
- 1 egg
- 1 tin of spaghetti (or baked beans if you prefer)
- 6 small slices of cheese
- Salt, pepper
Preheat oven to 150*c.
Melt the butter in a small container.
Slice the crust off each piece of bread. Use a pastry brush to coat 1 side of each piece of bread with butter.
Place the BUTTERED side FACE DOWN into a muffin tin until the bread looks like a “cup”. Place a fair amount of spahetti into each bread cup. Beat the egg and then place a small amount into each bread cup.
Season with salt and pepper, then cover with a small slice of cheese. Place into the oven for 15-20 or until cooked.
Serve it up. YUMMY
