star rating

Living Green have used the most natural and pure ingredients in their home cleaning range of products in New Zealand. Home cleaning products that really work and are far safer for you, your family and the environment. Safer than any other range of home cleaning products that are on the shelves of supermarkets.

Living Green set themselves a challenge to ‘Clean up the Cleaners’. That meant doing what no other New Zealand company has been able to achieve for a home cleaning range. That challenge was to gain the world’s hardest and most difficult ingredient focused certification for natural products. The certification is called the United States Natural Product’s Certification (USNPA). The USNPA certification criteria and standards for the use of the most natural ingredients are so high, it’s like climbing Mt. Everest without oxygen tanks. That’s why you will see the USNPA logo on the front of Living Green’s packs, next to our statement of being NZ’s Most Natural Home Cleaning Range.

Living Green home cleaning products are:

  • Made in New Zealand
  • Not tested on animals
  • GE-free
  • Gluten-free
  • Recyclable

I would love to try any one of these products, I currently use ecostore and earthwise dishwashing liquid and laundry powder but both brands make my hands really dry and crack, namely, after washing up the dishes.
Also, my clothes dont seem to come up as clean as they did when I used chemical ridden brands like Persil, Surf etc… I was very surprised as they are the most commonly marketed natural brands.
As a consumer, I am on the look out for a natural brand that is both good for our environment and effective.
    Nether should be compromised.
We have just moved into our first home and we are on a septic tank, so I like to be especially careful with all the products I use.
Recently, I have started resorting to making my own cleaning products ( essential oils, baking soda, vinegar etc..) but with unpacking, two little girls under 3, I just don’t always have time!
I would really like to get my hands on something on this range, sounds very exciting and promising!!!

Both my son and I have sensitive skin, so we try to stay as natural as we can with our cleaning products. We would to try the laundry products.

Laundry – this would be a great opportunity to try, with a toddler with sensitive skin and a hubby that loves mud. natural products aren’t just good for the septic tank but the environment

We have just relocated to NZ and I’m still searching for an effective brand of locally produced laundry powder that would suit our family’s sensitive skin. My husband has been saying that the one we used at the moment isn’t cleaning his clothes properly!

We always like to use as natural products as possible, its better for us and the environment, however, it can be expensive as we are a family of 7. I’m always on the lookout for possible new products to try that will not only be good for us and the environment but are also really effective as well.

I would love to give a laundry product a go! I have 2 kids with asthma, one who also has eczema and I have to be careful with what i use in the laundry or else it can set them off. Would be awesome to have another option of laundry cleaner to use, especially one that is made here in NZ!

  8. Claire 01/10/2018 at 8:55 pm

I would love to try natural washing powder as both my children get xmar with normal washing powder. I only use sensitive but double rinse their clothes and only wash there clothes 2gether.

I would love to try the dishwashing products. I’m always worried about all the chemicals used to clean our dishes and how much of that may remain on dishes and utensils that we then use to eat our food! Would love to try something more natural

  10. fliss1 01/10/2018 at 2:05 pm

With asthma and sensitive skin I am careful to totally rinse everything in case the family react to the products I use. I would love to try a gentler version but I am worried they won’t work as well

Laundry please! My 6 year old has problems with dust and pollen and cats (we have one – not cool but it was there before her) so I need all the help I can get/try with natural products.
Living Green looks like it fits the bill

would be amazing to get As a trial always looking for better cleaner and greener products for the home and around kids etc

  13. Alezandra 30/09/2018 at 8:52 pm

This is exactly what I’ve been looking for. I’ve been having a difficult time with dishwashing liquid brands. Nothing has suited our household – either it has been too harsh or too light that it doesn’t clean enough. I hope I get a chance to test this one out – safe cleaning is hard to find around and one that helps keep a home healthy without the added chemicals is just a bonus.

I would really love to try another natural household cleaning product as we have kids who have severe eczema at home and we always gotta be very careful with what we use to clean our house. Our kids skin can get really irritated when they are expose to non natural cleaning product. So this brand sounds Wonderful 🙂

    • Kz82 30/09/2018 at 8:43 pm

Oops forgot to say we would love to try the laundry product.

  15. samara 30/09/2018 at 5:13 pm

Dishwashing – any product would be great! Any produce that comes into contact with my family needs to be natural as our bodies are so sensitive. WOuld be great to test this out to see how well it cleans our dishes whilst being non-invasive to our bodies.

  16. Babyonboard 30/09/2018 at 5:07 pm

Our family would love to try your products. We have a member who has exema quite badly and we need to assure we try to use all products with no harsh chemicals added to avoid irritations. Washing power would be amazing to be considered for to see if we could finally find a product which works for everyone!

  17. Annazteam 30/09/2018 at 5:06 pm

I would love to give the laundry powder a go. I am always looking for a new and clean product for cleaning, that is good for all of us, and is good for sensitive skin. We have two young girls with very sensitive skin that can be irritated by harsh chemicals. Thanks heaps for the chance to give this new product a chance.

  18. Nicki Warhurst 30/09/2018 at 3:58 pm

Please consider my family to trail your products. An environmentally friendly product that is both natural and pure would be my preferred option when looking for cleaning products. As a Playcentre family we always endeavour to use environmentally friendly products both at home and Playcentre so it would be great to also trail your product there. As a parent I feel I have a moral obligation to teach my children to look after and preserve their environment and products like these help me in my quest.

  19. Coring 30/09/2018 at 3:43 pm

I would like to try the dishwashing liquid because I do the dishwashing all the time. So, I figure that by trying this new product which is 100% environmental friendly and biodegradable, i could be able to switch to another product. thanks

We would love to try the Laundry powder, both my children have sensitive skin so we have to be careful about the laundry powders we use. Love that its made in New Zealand with natural ingredients

  21. Abbey 30/09/2018 at 12:14 pm

For a long time now I have been trying to get the products we use in the house to be user and nature friendly. We are hypersensitive and get eczema/irritated skin from many of todays products. I would love to know what it’s like to wash my dishes and not have my hands scream at me for doing so without gloves. And as a solo mum having money to trial things is hard and I’ve often had to go by word of mouth from others… it would be nice to be the one who has a tip to offer to all 😀 then maybe my girl can start helping out more too 😆

    • Abbey 30/09/2018 at 12:15 pm

Oops wrong face at the end there… looked different before posting hahaha

  22. Kim Webster 30/09/2018 at 6:06 am

I’d love to try this range as using cleaning products which are safer on our skin & enviromentally friendly is very important to me. The less chemicals I can expose my family to the better 😊

  23. dvsgurl73 29/09/2018 at 11:07 pm

I saw this living green at the supermarket today! couldnt make up my mind which one..would love to be considered for a laundry sample to some to see it if agrees with our sons eczema allergy 🙂

  24. shellv 29/09/2018 at 10:43 pm

Wow, these products sound great, and the packaging looks stunning too! At last something made in NZ with certified truly natural ingredients. Natural products are important to me because I want to try to reduce the chemical load in our household, and also on our environment. I’ve noticed Living Green being advertised, and have been on the lookout for them in store, so I would absolutely love to give the laundry products a go with my family please. The Lavender and Aloe fragrance in particular sounds like it would make clothes and linen smell lovely! I would really love to see products like these become mainstream in our future.

Hi, would love to try the dishwasing product. If it can clean the dishes well without chemicals then I’m sold! I always rinse my toddler and preschoolers things when they come out the dishwasher as I’m concerned they may still have a film of detergent in them. Love that packaging is recyclable and not tested on animals is a must! Great that they are made in NZ too.

  26. BJW 29/09/2018 at 5:42 pm

Definitely love to try the Dishwashing Living Green made in New Zealand product for my family. I have tried different dishwasher tablets which seem to always leave a residue on the plates mainly the bowls which we use for cereal. These tablets have caustic ingredients in them so I have to wash the bowls and plates by hand and rinse thoroughly.

They can also be an irritant to skin and eyes if touched and kids love to touch and fingers then go into the mouth. I have tried using baking soda and soap which seem to work, but would love to try the natural and pure ingredients in the Living Green range please for my family.

I do like using non-toxic home cleaning products like vinegar, baking soda, soap, and water which do quite well for our household. Love to try please

I’d love to try the Living Green’s dish washing liquid. We don’t use a dishwasher and none of us use gloves when we wash the dishes, so it would be lovely to be using a clean, green product. Would love the chance to give an honest review 🙂

  28. tassynicole 29/09/2018 at 1:43 pm

Yes please Id love to try out the dishwash liquid. This is one area where we have struggled to find a good replacement to the standard chemical filled ones. And since no dishwasher it needs to be super good at cleaning but without the chemicals and this could be the one.

We would love to try the laundry liquid. My girl has very sensitive skin and eczema. Looking for a new laundry liquid anyway so this would be amazing!

I would love to try laundry products, all our water goes back into our land so I always use natural products, as there’s far to many chemicals in some products that don’t need to be
