We got the little sprouts pouches for my 11 month old and they are great. I often make his food but buy pouches for when we are going out and most of them taste so bland but the little sprouts ones tasted nice and full of flavour especially the cauliflower cheese one he loved it!

We received 2 jars of Wattie’s Stir Thru Cooking Sauce – Mild Butter Chicken with Veggies. Here is my detailed review:

My husband already bought two bottles previously thinking they were baby food (which we keep for on the go). He didnt read the label properly 🤦🏾‍♀️ maybe the “stir-thru sauce” part needs to be more bold? Label is colourful though.

Our 9.5 month old boy was unwell when we received the trial pack so his appetite wasn’t as usual which doesnt reflect the product taste or anything.

We poured the sauce over cooked pasta and steamed brocolli and beans. He normally feeds himself but because he was unwell we ended up hand feeding him so atleast he had some of it. The flavour was still approved by him (and his parents!). It makes it easy to turn a simple meal into something more exciting.

The sauciness makes meal time a little messy but that’s part of their learning of different food textures. If he knew how to use a spoon it would be better (maybe more suited for older kids?).

Would still buy and recommend. Thanks!

We received the butter chicken stir through sauce! I cooked some rice to go with it. My 9M enjoyed it a lot! I didn’t even get a chance to take proper photo! My 4.5yr old was eager to try some too seeing the baby enjoyed it so much. She loved it too!! Win win

We have just tried out the Little Dippers with our 9 month old. We had the butternut and kumara hummus. We served it with some lightly cooked carrot and celery sticks. He was very excited to try it as he was banging his hands on his highchair wanting us to give it to him. He loved it. He definitely loved the taste as at the beginning all he wanted to do was eat just the dip with his fists. Then he had it with his vege sticks. I love that it encourages him to feed himself, and use his fine motor skills.
Our nearly 3 year old was desperate to try some as he was watching his brother eat it, and loved it too.
We loved that it has no added sugar, salt, or fruit. As well as no artificial flavours or colours, and no added thickeners. We are definitely keen to try the other flavours.

We tested the Watties Mild Butter Chicken Stir Thru Sauce. I mixed it with cooked chicken and rice for my daughter. The jar is glass which is environmentally friendly. It has a vibrant colour which easily draws attention and stands out above other jars of baby food. For the sake of the review I decided to try the food myself prior to giving it to baby. The sauce is delicious. It has this burst of flavour that pops. It has a lovely taste of spicy curry but without the spice. My daughtet loved it! I couldn’t feed her fast enough-she just wanted more and more! She seemed to love the taste and I felt at ease knowing she was eating delicious, healthy food with no added ‘extras’.
My toddler was quite curious as to what baby was having for dinner and being the picky eater at times, I decided to offer it to her. I mean if she likes this then I’d say it’s a win. Surprise surprise-my toddler kept om asking for me and I had to bribe her with her own dinner otherwise baby got nothing. The sauce is quite saucy which is quite good for some babies who struggle with texture. All in all, it is a fantastic product and I would happily buy the jar in the store.

My 11 month old received two pouches of Little Sprouts- white beans, kumara, pumpkin and olive oil; and cauliflour, sweetcorn, and white beans with quinoa. He really enjoyed both pouches, finishing both pouches over two meals each. He enjoyed eating them both heated slightly with a bowl and spoon, but as expected much prefers to suck them from the pouch himself! I loved how healthy they are, convenient to use, and good for non-messy meals on the go! Thank you so much!

We received two of the Wattie’s Little Dippers Butternut & Kumara Hummus Dips fo our 11 month old to try. I really liked the fact it gave our baby the opportunity to explore new tastes and textures as we have explored the baby-led weaning concept to better suit her needs. For an easy snack for the first time, I just squeezed the dip into a bowl and served with potato sticks. She loved it! I also followed this up on other occasions with homemade soft cooked carrot sticks and cooked pasta and she just couldn’t get enough of it, gobbling it all up.
I really like that the The Little Dippers contain no preservatives, no artificial colours or flavours, and no added sugar, salt or thickeners. Definitely a product we will now be purchasing in our house 🙂

We received two pouches of Watties Little Sprouts to try – the white bean, kumara, pumpkin and olive oil and the cauliflower, sweet corn, white bean with quinoa. The nutritional rating and unique and interesting flavours in this new range were really appealing, especially as we’re doing our best to give our girl a wide range of different flavours. She enjoyed the white bean, kumara, pumpkin and olive oil, though not as much as I expected – given kumara and pumpkin were two of her first foods, and she’s always stealing my beans I thought this would be a huge hit. She was happy to eat it but also just as happy to push it away. The opposite was true for the cauliflower, sweetcorn, white bean and quinoa. She couldn’t get enough! She was launching at the spoon, trying to grab the bowl, trying to grab the pouch, kicking her legs with happiness and finished it all! She absolutely adored this flavour, which is funny as I thought the other would be her favourite! I wouldn’t hesitate to buy this flavour again (and again). With those ingredients, all plant based and a great source of protein, i’m really happy to give this range to my daughter. I can’t wait to check out some of the other flavours in the range and continue helping her expand her palate and fuel herself with this goodness.

My daughter was lucky enough to try 2 pouches of the little sprouts she absolutely loved them. We dont use pouches often but they are so convenient at the drop of a hat on those days that are rushed or on the go so we like to have a wee stash for those last min quick meals. I loved how they are plant based with no added sugar, salt or fruit no Artifical flavors and even better no preservatives. Thanks watties for having avaliable some plant based nutritious meals. We will definitely be having a stash of these. 😊

We received two jars of Wattie’s Stir Thru Cooking Sauce – Mild Butter Chicken with Veggies for my Grandaughter , Ryan, to try. I was not surprised that she loved it as it was one of her mother’s cravings when she was pregnant with her. I added silverbeet, kumara and potato babyfood that I had made for her dinner. It smelled delicious and she ate all of it in record time. It was creamy and mixed well with the veges. I love that it has no artificial flavours, no added fruit, colours, salt or sugar. I was really glad to see that it came in a jar that I can use for my spices or recycle. I would recommend the Wattie’s stir thru cooking sauces to everyone as they are easy to use, babys love them and they are nutricious. Ryan really enjoyed it!

My almost 10 month old tried the Little Dippers- white bean, peas, avocado and spinach baby dip. Lately he has been really into vege crisps with his afternoon snack. So I decided to try out the Little Dippers with his vege crisps. He loved it so much that by the end he was just using the crisps as a way of getting the dip into his mouth! It was awesome how easy it was to add more veges into his diet through his independent snacking time.
