When comparing my experience before and after using this particular product we have noticed a massive improvement both with the failing asleep and waking up during the night.

Newkiwi

The first weekend took it twice each night and instantly he felt results. Going to sleep as soon as he has read, and stayed asleep all night.
We believe this product worked extremely well with only one week trialed, and will definitely continue to use.

Chrislean

From the very first night (they have been having it nightly for the last 2 weeks) my kids were fast asleep within a fairly short period of time. I honestly thought my eldest was just pretend sleeping but she was actually fast asleep. This is a girl who can be awake past midnight some nights, so I was honestly blown away, but thought it may just be a coincidence. But no, both girls have been getting to sleep within 20-30 mins of lights out, which is amazing.

Angelgirl081

We’ve been using it for less than a week but we are definitely noticing a difference. My youngest fell asleep on me last night for the first time since he was a baby! Not only that but both boys slept until 7:30am today, compared to the usual 6am and as I can’t remember the last time they slept that late, I’m thinking that can’t be a coincidence!

melinda1nz

I took the bottle away on school camp for my 10-year-old – each night I gave her some and she fell asleep well before the other children. Another parent asked to use it for her child who was struggling with sleeping, and they believed it worked too!

Annaclyne1

We started with 1 dose an hour before bed and then moved it to 20min before bed. We noticed that falling asleep went from 45min plus once in bed to 10min after day 4. They both seemed to be a little less all over the place in the evening and a little more focused.

I was so excited to be receiving this to review. My 5 yr old does not go to sleep easy for all sorts of reasons and my 8 yr old is a bit hyper. Love the idea of this medicine & would love to see it work some magic. Have been using for over a week & haven’t seen any big changes, but things are potentially a bit calmer than usual & they’re both having a full nights sleep. I definitely would like something like this in our life, to assist with bedtime. I would totally recommend anyone needing support to try it.
The flavours not loved , but got use to having a drink after taking it. Look forward to getting through the whole bottle.

Artemis’s Settle and sleep remedy was provided at no cost for us to evaluate. The packaging is lovely and has an eye catching brand. The instructions are well written and something I reached for instantly.

When comparing my experience before and after using this particular product we have noticed a massive improvement both with the failing asleep and waking up during the night. Although our 8 Year old child finds both the odor and taste objectionable despite us recognizing how effective is it.

The smell is a mild form of herbal medicine smell plus lavender, the taste is sweet with the laveder taste again, and in my opinion palatable.

After a week of using it, I did however notice that at times the effect were not as good as the first few nights and therefore be likely to use it on days where activities are more than normal and 8 year old is overtired rather than every night.

I would purchase this product, once it is on the market, depending on the cost.

Loved having the opportunity to try this 100% natural product. Thank you. A great find.

I’ve been using artemis Sleep & Settle for 5 nights in a row on our son, 11 years. Despite initial reluctance, he’s now happily taking it. I have found giving him 1 teaspoon an hour before bed and another teaspoon 30 mins before is working well and since it’s just a teaspoon it’s easy to get it down in one go. It has a herbal fragrance and flavour to it but it’s pleasant and quite sweet tasting which is interesting given it has no sugars or sweeteners in it, which I loved.

I have noticed an improvement in the time it takes him to get to sleep and he’s not getting up after going to bed at all now which is fantastic. By the third night, he mentioned he felt like going to sleep was easier and he seemed calmer about going to bed so a big win for us and given it’s herbal based with no sugar I am going to continue giving it to him – he is quite hyperactive so the calming effects could be just what he needs to help settle down for the night.

Will continue to use, especially with daylight savings approaching as we have trouble every year with the adjustment. I’m keen to find out more about the adult range now and see if there’s a stronger one for mums who need to get to sleep easier!

We recieved this to try on my 3.5year old and almost 7year old sons. They share a room and go to bed 30mins apart but can stay awake until 830/9pm, chatting, talking, playing.
Packaging is nice, matches rest of the artemis range. We followed the instructions and gave it 1 hour before bed time. From the very first night neither were keen on the taste, however they continued to take it for the week and would have a small sip of water afterwards to “wash it down”. I think its helped our 3.5yo, he seems to be asleep within 15mins (provided he doesn’t sneak in a day sleep). For my 7yo bed time seems calmer/relaxed/quieter and he doesn’t come out asking a million questions however he’s still not falling asleep until 9pm. I’m willing to try it for another week and perhaps do one dose 1 hour before hand and a second dose right before bed.
We have only tried kids night time magnesium pills on the 7yo and they don’t seem to have much affect on him. If children prefer a syrup over a pill then I would definitely suggest this product, it appreciate how natural it is and free from so many allergens and artificial things.

Thanks for letting us do the trial.
I have an 9 year old and nearly 3 year old. Both of them I struggle to get down in the evening, it just drags for them to fall asleep, no matter what we try or adjust it is always a long night. They also have a tendency to wake up at least 3 times in the night and struggle to get back to sleep.
We didn’t see any difference the first few days, but on day 4 we saw a difference. We started with 1 dose an hour before bed and then moved it to 20min before bed. I had a taste of it and it has a pleasant taste, no actual flavour I can pin point. The 9 year old says it tastes of lavender and the nearly 3 year old said it tastes like peach. The 9 year old says it makes him feel sleepy and calm. The nearly 3 year old has no comment on how it makes him feel haha!
We noticed that falling asleep went from 45min plus once in bed to 10min after day 4.
They both seemed to be a little less all over the place in the evening and a little more focused.
I honestly was expecting it work a little faster due to it stating fast acting on the packaging. But I also took it in as it all depends on the child and their body. I am on two sides if I will purchase it once we have finished the trial bottle, on one hand it helps a little bit so that is a bonus to a point, but on the other end it is not amazing to the point that I will rush to buy it. I guess it relaxes them l and settles them so it kind of did what it was assigned to do.

I was excited when this was delivered to my house, I was even more excited to give it a try. I have 2 year old and a 3 year old and bedtimes have been so tricky lately that we have resorted to long drives to get the girls asleep.
I love artemis range and already use them, so my girls already recognised the packaging as ‘medicine’. I told them this was sleep medicine, showed them the picture on the front and they were happy enough with that. My 3 year old is fine with the taste but my 2 year old screws her face everytime, however continues to take it easy enough.
I thought the first night may have been a fluke when we didn’t end up with children in our bed, however we forgot it the second night and had 2 visitors in the night. They both are alot more settled within our nighttime routine and falling asleep much faster so that’s great.
My 2 year old was having a rough afternoon one day and so as per the box I I gave her a daytime dose and her afternoon got a whole lot better.
I will be continue using this product and can see it being a must have in my cupboard alongside the other artemis products I keep on hand.
Thank you for the opportunity to trial this.

My daughter is nine years old, neurodiverse, not a great sleeper – getting to sleep and staying asleep. We’ve tried many different products, and currently she has prescription meds from the pediatrician to assist with this.
We’ve had mixed success with this product, the first night she went to sleep quite quickly and had a very calm sleep. The next few sleep nights took a bit longer to go to sleep and not as restful. The last night no affect and we ended up giving her a dose of her prescription meds instead.
Overall yes there is a minor positive impact for my daughter, but not enough to assist us.
Thanks for allowing to be part of the trial, we’re always open to trying different solutions particularly if they are more natural over pharmaceutical.

  8. Rachaelfull 25/03/2024 at 8:42 pm

Thank you for the trial bottle of Settle and Sleep. We have 2 x 8year olds, a 6 year old and a 4 year old and bedtime can be a long and drawn out process so I was very excited to give this a try.
I think it smells delicious, the kids weren’t as convinced but still agreed to give it ago. I think they all agree they wouldn’t describe the flavour as mandarin as mentioned on the box but the 2 x 8 year olds and the 4 year old have been happy to keep taking it so 3 out of 4 is a win in my eyes.
I was particularly hoping that this would help one of my 8 year old twins who is really struggling with getting to sleep at the moment. It can sometimes take him till 10/10.30 to drift off. The first couple of nights we didn’t notice much difference for him, but I then re read the instructions about taking it 30mins to an hour before bed and I think that is the trick to it. Now that he’s taking a double dose an hour before bed he’s much more relaxed by bedtime and the past couple of nights has been asleep by 9pm which is great.
It’s not a magic fix but nothing ever is, but we will definitely continue with this bottle and longer if it carries on helping him to relax and fall asleep easier.

  9. victoriaw 25/03/2024 at 4:53 pm

We are grateful to be chosen to review this product. Unfortunately my 3 year old twins did not like the taste, and refused to take it after about 3 days. Possibly older kids may like it.
We also haven’t found it to do very much and have tried giving it both 30 mins and an hour before bed and all super hyperactive before bed. We will continue trying it and seeing how it goes for longer. Perhaps a product for older kids as they may tolerate it a bit better?

  10. kanahagger 25/03/2024 at 10:26 am

Thank you for giving us the opportunity to try this products.
We tried for 7,11and 15 years old. They didnt mind the taste. They slept all nights first night they took this. My 7 years old has habit to wake up and come to my bedroom every nights but first two nights she stayed in her bed. Other seems like stay in bed longer every nights they took this products.
Package is simple and easy to understand what for.
We tried other products before but this one they dont struggle to take!!
    Thank you

  11. nashabenson 24/03/2024 at 7:57 pm

Thanks for choosing us to do this review. My 9 year old and 11 year old tried this, we have tried all of these that are already available as I have a 9 year old that went through a stage of waking at night, I don’t think any of them helped and we just take the kids magnesium at night now. We loved the packaging and I enjoyed I could just use a teaspoon for this one instead of another plastic measurer to wash. My 9 year old didn’t mind the taste of it and reminds me to take it every night and I am not sure whether it works but he seems to be going straight to sleep every night whilst my 11 year sadly did not like the taste of it she tried it a couple of nights and then decided she didn’t want to take it. We will continue to take it and then see over a longer period as he may prefer that to the magnesium tablets I buy. I am a fan of the more natural ingredients and I love Artemis as a brand and do purchase some of their other products for kids. I would recommend this to others especially because of the ingredients.

Mr 6 was the only child willing to give this a go, even with extreme bribery! He is going through a patch of hyperactiveness at bedtime every night which has been causing chaos every evening. He has settled significantly faster and more efficiently, and I have torn much less hair out (my own ) every evening- winning!! The flavour of the syrup isn’t terrible but I had to mix it with a small amount of juice each dose to get it in him. Overall I am very happy with the results. I should also note that my husband tried this one evening and was snoring on the couch 30 mins later!

  13. Andyandbek 23/03/2024 at 8:56 pm

We tried this Sleep and Settle with our 7 yr old boy and 2 1/2 yr old girl. My son can take until 10:30 to get to sleep majority of the week. He wasn’t too keen on the flavour/taste of the syrup but happy to tried it for me. The first night we did one dose but found two doses helped him more. It didn’t seem to get him to sleep quicker but he did stay in his more so more settled. He also told me he didn’t wake as much overnight- having a better sleep. I feel that we need to keep going for more than the 5 nights to know if it will help with earlier sleep. My little girl was more relaxed with syrup and settled quicker, she only needed one dose.
I would continue using my bottle as there are definitely benefits to this but not sure I would buy it- would depend on cost.

  14. melinda1nz 23/03/2024 at 8:21 am

We were really excited to receive this in the mail. With two very active boys aged 7 and 8, and one who is neurodiverse, we are willing to try anything designed to calm and relax! In terms of taste, one loved it and one hated it, I had a little taste also and quite liked it, it’s definitely unusual with the herby vibe but it’s sweet and like the mandarin vibe. Definitely keen to keep going on this one and might see how it goes to calm our ASD boy during the day when needed. Thanks so much for this opportunity!

  15. Chrislean 22/03/2024 at 6:24 pm

My 11 year old son trailed the product of Artemis Kids settle and sleep to see if it would help to get to sleep quicker and stay asleep.
My son is first year at Intermediate which brings a higher workload, stress of a bigger school and more sporting opportunities. Knowing how important sleep is for my tween to succeed at school was a reason we wanted to trail this product.
He said “it tasted fine, just like cough syrup”.
The first weekend took it twice each night and instantly he felt results. Going to sleep as soon as he has read, and stayed asleep all night.
We believe this product worked extremely well with only one week trialed, and will definitely continue to use.
The packaging, bottle size and easy to pour were all convenient and easy.
Having a wee measuring cup that fits on the bottles lid would have been an added bonus.

  16. zackandemiliasmummy 20/03/2024 at 8:57 pm

We were lucky enough to get to trial this.
My review is based on a 6 and 9 year old, both take forever to settle to sleep and effects waking the next morning so have been buying lots of items to try.
The bottle size was great, doesn’t come with a measuring cup but was eay to use, packaging looked great.
Have yet to see a difference but like most things can take a week or do yo make a difference.
Compares similar to other brands and products but kids were not fans of the taste which makes getting them to take it a juggling act.
Feedback on your experience using the product including.
We will preserve and hope to see a difference.

  17. Msdunnet 20/03/2024 at 8:12 am

I received the bottle yesterday so of course I had to try it on miss 3 and 11. Miss 3 is never asleep before 10pm no matter how hard I try and last night she was out like a light by 8.45!!! I’ll take that as a win! She did not like the taste but miss 11 put it in a small bit of water and said it was fine she slept great!

  18. Kelsey2022 05/03/2024 at 1:59 am

2 & 1/2. She will be 3 in May. She seems to be unsettled at the start if the night and sleeps better from early morning and a big sleep in. Would like to help her settle faster and have fuller better sleep

  19. Jo.27 05/03/2024 at 1:58 am

My children are 6&8 years old and I have had trouble with them sleeping. In the past we have tried Tru2U Children’s Sleep Support Sweet Cherry Concentrate & magnesium, both in tablets and rub.

  20. briannaasplin 05/03/2024 at 1:57 am

    Children aged 8.5 & 5.5.

Sometimes they both need support to get to sleep or stay asleep. Often my 5.5 year old wakes having had nightmares or feels scared of the dark. Would love to try this for some calming effect.

  21. Jax 05/03/2024 at 1:54 am

I have a 2 year old and 9 year old. Both kids struggle to settle and stay calm at night for bed time. We seem to stay up later then expect to get them down. Plus they wake up at least twice in the night. If there is something that can help relax them and help with sleep I am all for it!

  22. Chellez441 05/03/2024 at 1:52 am

My son is 4yrs old and constantly active. Up at 7am and from 6.30pm we started getting ready for bed with bedtime between 7-7.30pm… But, we often are still taking him back to bed at 9.30pm with him tell us he can’t switch his brain to sleep.

We are fairly reluctant to try anything to help him sleep but I’m at a point where I’m beginning to.

  23. Kiwiemz79 05/03/2024 at 1:50 am

5 and 9. My 5 year old still does not sleep through the night. He will either go to sleep at 10 or 11 and be up for day at 3am… Be up all night or wake 8729 times during the night. Born at 30 weeks he has always been an extremely active child and finds it hard to settle at night. As a single mother I would love to get some uninterrupted sleep. I have tried all sorts of supplements and still haven’t found a winner! So would love to give this a go!

  24. Angelgirl081 05/03/2024 at 1:49 am

My children are 7 & 10. I would love to try this with them as they both struggle to settle/calm down at night and my eldest really struggles to get to sleep. It seems as soon as her head hits the pillow, all of her thoughts and worries and what-ifs and plans for the future come to her head and she can be awake for hours. We have tried calming techniques, music and other over the counter remedies and although they do sometimes work, they don’t always. We would love to give this product a try and see if it helps them both.

  25. Mumof3lads 05/03/2024 at 1:48 am

11 years old. He’s having a lot of trouble falling asleep and getting up multiple times to say he can’t relax and I’ve been looking at options that are safe to help him. We would love to try this to see if it helps please.

  26. Candice101 05/03/2024 at 1:46 am

My daughter is 5. She has just started school and is finding it all so exciting she can’t get to sleep at night. It’s important that she has a good rest so she can take in everything she needs to

  27. Roxliley 01/03/2024 at 8:23 pm

My 6 year old son struggles to fall asleep every night, even after a day of school and sports. Bike riding before bedtime with a bath isn’t working. He’s awake for an hour or 2 longer than his 9 year old sister.

  28. Jennette 01/03/2024 at 7:41 pm

I have to kids one 10 and the other one almost 2 years old both of them are very unrest less during the night.

  29. Campleader 01/03/2024 at 1:50 pm

We would love the opportunity to trail Settle and Sleep. Have tried lavender baths, reading before settling for sleep,no screen time after dinner and still not managing to get my 9 yr old granddaughter off to sleep until around 10pm. Hopefully we can be considered to give this product a try and knowing it’s a natural product is reassuring.

  30. carla11 29/02/2024 at 8:35 am

I have 2 x 4 year olds, 6 & 8 year olds. I’d love to try this on my boys they take so long to settle and calm down for bedtime/sleep. We cans spend ages lying with them to go off to sleep
