Cheddar cheese crackers

Making your own crackers is easier than you think! Make these cheddar cheese crackers for lunch box snacks or for your next party.

Ingredients

  • ½ cup butter

  • 1 cup plain flour

  • 1/2 salt

  • 1 baking powder

  • 3 pinches cayenne pepper

  • 2 cups cheddar cheese

    optional

Equipment

  • 1 food processor
  • 1 baking paper
  • 1 oven

Instructions

  1. Place all the ingredients into a food processor and process until combined.
  2. Shape into 1 and 1/2 – 2 inch rolls and refrigerate for 30 to 60 minutes.
  3. Slice each roll into slices about 1/4 inch thick.
  4. Bake on baking paper for approx 10 minutes in a 180 degree oven.
