This product could not have come at a better time!!! 3 days before it arrived the sniffles entered our house! My boys are 5 years old and 11 years old.
We love the colour of the boxes and the labels, it makes it easy for a quick reference on which bottle you need, I loved that!! I also love how the bottle is firm but still easy to squeeze to get out on a spoon or a drip process, but does not come running out which is really helpful!
We started with Me Today Potent Herbals Children’s Chest & Rest Night, as I find both my kids have always been restless sleepers, struggle to fall asleep and settle and they wake up at 5am no matter what I do or try!! Within 3 days of giving them this at night they slept until 7am!! For me that is heaven! Also less waking up moaning they are feeling tired, they settled quicker, seemed more alert in the morning! They both liked the taste, the 11 year old said it tasted better then previous brands and didn’t leave a nasty after taste. The 5 year old said it didn’t taste like a medicine at all haha!
With the runny noses approaching in the 5 year old and 11 year old started with sore throats (winter fun!) we added the Me Today Potent Herbals Children’s Sinus Soothe & Clear morning and night. The throats eased up, 11 year old said it didn’t take away the itchy sore throat but it did soothe it and made it easier to swallow. The 5 year old I noticed had less runny noses. They both loved the taste! Based on previous brands, this seemed to act alot faster.
We have been giving them the Me Today Potent Herbals Children’s Immune Shield in the morning, and seeing how that goes. Again both loved the taste!!!
I loved how each one had a distinctive taste, that was not too strong but yet enjoyable.
We did notice we stopped after a week of giving them sinus dose since they were clearing up well, so we thought we would just carry on with the immune one. But within 3 days of stopping the sinus one the runny nose came back full blast and worse. So we started it up again and it stayed clear. So it decides work!!!
I am planning to buy more of these, as I have found they do as they promise. This has proven to out do other products we have tried, so definitely will stock up on some more 🙂
I was lucky enough to be chosen as a reviewer for these 3 me today products. As a working mum for 4 children 10 and younger, I’m always on the look out for products that help boost my little ones immunity (and means less time I have to take of work sick with them) and help assist when we do get those ills and chills.
It just so happened that these products arrived when my youngest two (aged 2 and 5) got sick with heavy colds and coughs. We used the chest and rest relief for both of them at night but also used during the day for my 2 year old and it worked great at helping with their coughs. They loved the taste and were both happy to take it (which is a win). We also used the sinus soothe and clear which worked wonders.
The older two that weren’t sick we gave the immune shield and they avoided all sickness which was great, and we are now continuing to use for all 4 going forward.
Would recommend these highly.
Great products! All taste good, even the sinus soothe which I was a bit apprehensive about. The mint in the sinus soothe is quite refreshing for the sinuses without being overpowering. This parcel arrived a day after our youngest got yet another cold! That first winter in daycare is brutal. He’s especially fussy when sick, so the small dose quantities & pleasant taste make dosing him easier. Definitely noticed he was more settled & had less coughing overnight after the chest & rest. We are doing the immune shield daily so time will tell if it helps us power through the rest of winter…

I tried these products on my 4 year old. He didn’t mind the taste at all. They are thick so I added a drop of water and he took them with no problems.
He is normally fussy and we had no battles with trying to get him to take them. The packaging is nice and the dosages are clear. I liked how it’s all natural so I was more confident giving these products to my son. The chest and rest night seemed to help him settle at night. The daily immune support is nice knowing it’s giving him the extra support with all the germs going around preschool. I would definitely buy again and recommend to other parents who like natural products .
Great to have in winter.
I love the fact that these products are of natural ingredients and safe for children from age 0-12. The range is appropriate for the common cold symptoms we get and also for general wellbeing. My kids loved it being not too sweet or too overpowering to consume. The packaging and size is reasonable. I would suggest to provide a syringe for the ease of use in younger children. I cannot vouch on the effectiveness at this stage since we’ve started using recently.
Have just been using these on my kids for over a week. Although I can’t speak on whether the immunity has been helping, my kids have had a cough and I am finding that the cough one helps reduce the amount they are coughing at night time. I have fussy kids but they do not seem to mind the taste of these. Good habit to get them into, will carry on using these all winter!
We trialled the Me Today Potent Herbals range with my 15-month-old and 4-year-old as part of our winter wellness routine. I really liked that these products are suitable for younger children, as it’s often hard to find herbal options for a 15-month-old. My youngest happily took all three products, while my 4-year-old was a bit fussy about the herbal flavour but still used them when needed.
The products were easy to use with clear dosing instructions. It would be great if each bottle included an oral syringe, as many children’s products no longer come with one and it makes measuring the correct dose much easier. Overall, I was happy with the range, especially the Chest & Rest Night, and would recommend it to other parents.
We LOVED these products! The most important thing i look for in a children’s medicine is taste – if the kids dont like the taste then they wont take it meaning I have a fight on my hands or I have spent money thats just going down the drain. So the fact my kids reminded me they needed a dose of ‘me today’ was a massive indicated that it tasted good! These products came at a great time, mr 5 was waking in the morning with a phlegm-y cough that the ‘chest and rest’ soothed instantly, the phlegm sound was reduced significantly and I could see he was so much more comfortable (I ended up getting this cough myself and used the same product and it worked so well – it stopped the “coughing until I felt sick” feeling)
Mr 7 complained of a snotty nose so we jumped strait into using the ‘sinus soothe and clear’ we used this every morning after waking when he felt he was most blocked up, his sickness didnt develop any further than the snotty nose and that cleared up in 2-3 days. Miss 3 thankfully wasn’t getting illness symptoms but to be safe we used the ‘immune shield’ every day and she didnt get sick! Even with her sick brothers in the house! Parent win!
The packaging is super cute and attractive, the kids spotted it strait away but the biggest positive was definitely the taste! I will certainly be buying this product again as I know the kids love it and it helps their illness symptoms, ill be letting others know too that this is a winning product!
Review: Me Today Potent Herbals Children’s Chest & Rest Night
Our whole household was hit with a winter cough right as the school holidays began, so I used Me Today Potent Herbals Children’s Chest & Rest Night to help settle my kids at bedtime. I used it for both my one‑year‑old and seven‑year‑old, and overall it worked surprisingly well.
My seven‑year‑old wasn’t a huge fan of the taste and complained a little, but still took it without too much fuss. The one‑year‑old, on the other hand, happily had her dose and even wanted more. Once they’d both taken it, they settled down quickly and their coughs eased as they drifted off to sleep. It seemed to have a noticeably calming effect on my older child, while the toddler was still a bit unsettled—though that may just be her age and limited ability to communicate discomfort.
The only downside was the stopper designed for use with a syringe. None of the syringes we had (and we have plenty!) fit properly, so I ended up having to pop the stopper out entirely to get the dose out.
Despite that small inconvenience, the product itself did what I needed it to do: helped soothe their coughs and supported a more restful night. I’d use it again, especially during those rough winter bugs.
My daughter (5) is now using these products.
Firstly, nice packaging. My daughter likes the animal pictures and asks for them by “whale” “bear” etc. I like that bottles are sturdy (for when they get dropped) & have a cap which makes using a syringe easier and pouring slower so don’t over fill or spill.
We have tried all three.
I found that the chesty herbal medicine helped with her residual viral cough that was coming and going. After one dose it disappeared. The sinus relief helped her with the runny nose she got but due to these herbal medicines didn’t last. Also I gave her brother (13) some when he was complaining of his nose and sore head- again one dose and he was feeling okay again. I’m so happy to have the immune support and she has been taking that and keeping well, while others around her are getting unwell. She is doing school visits and kindy so busy and very tired but keeping healthy!
She is happy to take all the herbal medicines and doesn’t mind the taste- often asking for them. Her favourite is the mint. I tasted each of them to check flavours and can say they are pretty accurate and don’t have a lingering herbal taste that can happen.
I have found with the chest and sleep medicine we do need several doses (as stated with directions) to help get her to sleep- but my girl takes a lot to slow down her brain and sleep.
Overall, happy with these products and would buy them again. They are great to have on hand especially over winter when immunity is slightly lower and sickness around more.

Even since winter started, my toddler has been sicked a lot and especially coughing and wheezing at night time. We have tried the Me Today Potent Herbals Children’s Chest & Rest Night when we receive the package and after just a few days his symptoms decrease significantly, less coughing and sleep better now. I’ll definitely stock more in the future when this run out. Thank you Me Today for this great product, he always looks forward to having it every night.
We have tried the immunity shield, opening it upon arrival as the kids were just starting to sniff and cough a little. Absolutely love that it’s a Kiwi product. The kids love the taste although it’s a little thick to pour into a medicine glass and doesn’t syringe out well (lots of air making it hard to measure). It takes a little patience. I’m hopeful it’ll help us beat this potential bug and will report back in!
I have to say all 3 supplements taste good, my kid loved it and I loved it too (I had a taste!). No more struggles to get my little one to take her supplements because she loves the taste of it. It really is tailored for children’s palate. The packaging is really colorful and playful which again I can say appeals to parents and children. My kid usually has sinus congestion and allergies during the colder months so the Sinus Soothe and Clear supplement will be perfect to combat those clogged sinuses. I would also make the Children’s Immune Shield supplement an everyday staple for my child to build a strong immune system especially during these winter months. I would recommend these products to all parents who want the best for their children, it’s worth buying and I trust that it’s a quality product. As an adult, I also buy the other Me Today vitamins and I find them very effective. I’m so glad they also have products for children 🙂
My 13 and 11 year old have began taking the Immune shield 3 times a day with a teaspoon in the morning, after school and before bed. So far so good with no winter illnesses and we have very cold temperatures at the moment in Queenstown. The kids loved the flavour so they have no problem taking this and the easy squeeze bottle with the cap allows them to not spill it onto the teaspoon it carefully comes out as it is squeezed. It isn’t too runny either and is almost like a honey consistency. They have tried the flavours of the other me today sinus and chest and said ‘yum’. The age of your child(ren) and how these products were used as part of your winter wellness routine. The bottles are lovely calm colours – yellow, blue and orange with cute animals on them. I love that these are herbal and will be able to see after a month as to the effectiveness of this but at this stage they beat any product I currently use. I have seen a lot of research stating that honey and lemon are more effective than the nasty tonics that are sold so these seem like a great alternative that I would recommend. With some cough syrups my kids just refuse to take it so the taste is really important. Thanks Me Today looking forward to more products you bring to the market with this point of difference!
