Absolutely loved trialling this product!
It masks and takes away the odours as it says it does.
I can’t believe I never purchased this prior to trying.
Does wonders for dirty diaper bins 🤭
Thank you for the opportunity to trial this product. We used it all around the kitchen and rubbish. Especially on the highchair after it was cleaned. The smell was inoffensive and perfect for the type of product it is. It’s the kI’d of product you want to have on hand especially when the kids have Been sick. Thanks again. Packaging was good but the small can did not last long – I wouldn’t be so keen on creating more rubbish for our world with smaller cans.
Sad to say – I did not like the smell – it was overpowering and not at all pleasant for me. Tried to clean some flippers with it but it wasn’t able to cope with that – would probably be better on day-to-day cleaning.
Thanks for the chance to try it, but I won’t be buying more.
Was very excited to be able to trial this product. However does not seem to have a great deal of effect on combatting the odour of teenage boys smelly sports boots. Does have a pleasant none over powering scent the crisp linen one.
pretty sure i have already commented on here for my product trial but im going to do it again and this stuff is great! so happy i have some and definately going to buy more when i need it! loving it !
I received the Dettol crisp linen Glen 20 spray disinfectant to trial. Very handy sized can – not to tall or heavy for one handed used. Downside of smaller sized can may be it runs out faster I guess but it’s definitely a great size to use. Smell is quite nice and definitely not overpowering. Love the ‘spray and walk away’ use! Just need to make sure no one touches the item sprayed for 10 mins or so until dried. Doesn’t leave residue. Not the best for use on our plastic Highchair as I can’t be trusted to remember to wipe it off! Great on rubbish bin and toilet seat. Messy patches on floor. Have tried spraying in mould prone areas on window sills and so far looks to be doing a good job of preventing more mould growing.
I would recommend this to others and I may buy again depending on price of can. I think my personal preference are the detol disinfectant wipes though as I find them more convenient.
We continue to use this spray and are loving it! Have used it (as others have) on remote controls, keyboards and the computer mouse. It’s great as doesn’t leave any residue. Thanks again!
Thank you so much for choosing us for your trial. We received the Crisp Linen and the scent is pleasant and refreshing. The spray button is easy to press – Master 5 has been having fun helping me spray the door handles and can press the spray button with ease. All of the door handles was indeed the first thing we used the spray for. With so many hands and germs passing over them each day I love how quick and easy it is to disinfect them with Dettol Spray. I’ve also been using it to spray out the rubbish bin whenever the rubbish bag is taken out. It certainly has helped to reduce the smell in the cupboard under our sink/where the rubbish bin is.
I’ve used disinfectant wipes before, and I can see advantages and disadvantages of the spray. The spray is so quick and easy and can be used on things like shoes a bit easier than the wipes can. You do have to be careful though that you don’t hold down the spray button to hard or spray too close as you can get a bit of run off trickle down which then has to be wiped up.
I’ll probably use a combination of wipes and spray. But will certainly get more of the spray once it’s run out.
I LOVE IT 😍 , this product is beyond amazing knowing that this disinfectant spray works wonders also killing 99% germs makes me feel at 🤗 ease. The smell of the fresh linen does remind me of clean sheets coming straight out the wash, I sprayed this all over my rubbish bin 🗑️ my shoes 👞👟👠 my cats bed 🐾🐈and recycling bins and it’s a stench I can now handle. Thank you 🙏detol for creating such an easy and efficient product that I now use as a must have on my cleaning products list. Wicked stuff 👏👌
Thanks kidspot and Dettol. I have just received my Glen 20 spray to trial and as soon as I had unpacked it from the box I used it on my son’s (stinky) sandals as I saw on the can that it eliminates odours. Well it has certainly done the trick! Will keep trying it around the home and at work on my keyboard and desk which is often used by others when I’m not there.
Sorry for the late review of this product! I have used this on SO many things since receiving it, thank you! The most memorable was after my daughter had a good powerchuck of milk and everyone knows that is not a smell you can easily get out of the carpet!
Well, after cleaning up the mess – I used this and what a dfference in such a short space of time. I’m definitely a convert to this product, particularly as it can be used on so many different things. Another fabulous Dettol item, thank you!

Thank you for the opportunity to trial this product and apologies for the late review (I have had troubles signing in to my account). I really liked this product, I received the crisp linen, though I would be quite interested to also try the lavender version as I think I may prefer this particular option. I used this for cleaning up/disenfecting after our dog unfortunately walked in some nasty stuff outside then walked it inside! It was reassuring to know that it was going to deal with pathogens and also odour neutralising was most definitely a bonus! We also used it for cleaning kitchen benches after cutting raw meat – also reassuring.
I was lucky enough to get a chance to review this, and the timing could not have been better! Our house had been struck with a vomiting bug and so I used this to fully spray the floors, door handles, couches and hard surfaces in a hope to kill the bugs off, the smell was lovely and fresh and best of all there was no sticky residue left after spraying. A great sized product at a awesome price which I have already purchased. Will be recommending this to use at my daycare next time a illness strikes
This product is awesome. With 7,4 and 1 year old daughters it’s great to have a product so easy to use. I just spray it on the high hair and benches and have the peace of mind of knowing all germs are killed. It smells great and is non greasy.
Top cleaning product
Great product, used to wipe down the bench tops, in the bathroom and especially the toilet. It has a nice smell and keeps everything looking and smelling fresh (especially in the toilet with 3 boys!!!). I have also used it on the Couches and it has been wonderful getting off the food stains left from the children. Love the size of the can, great for popping in the car when we go places.
We have used this product for a while now so we gave this can to my mother-in-law who is now a convert too!
Was stoked I got the opportunity to trial this product. As well as having my own kids I also do Home Based childcare and found this spray absolutely awesome. Within a couple of days of recieving it I purchased another can so as to have one in the toilet and one in lounge and kitchen. I used it for spraying the change mat after changing nappes, as an air freshner and disenfectant after the kids use the toilet, to clean my benches, table,and to disenfect all the toys. Well definately keep using and recommending to others. Have convinced a couple of collegues to start using it as well and they love it too 🙂
We got to try this amazing product. I love it and the smell is really refreshing too. It was great at removing food and grime off my bench from the kids too.
So we got to trial this amazing product! I’m in love with it for getting rid of those smelly odors I do however find it a bit overwhelming if I use anything more than a light spray!
This winter has been the wettest and with that comes mould… I used this after cleaning the mould off our walls and have noticed that the areas I used it no longer has any grown back!
We will definitely be getting this again! I recommend it to everyone!
I found this disinfectant spray fantastic, we had a stray cat spray on our back porch and nothing would get rid of the smell, but this did, I was almost ready to dump the cupboard and buy a new one!
This is another great product of Dettol. It is very easy to use, just shake and spray. It is really great that it also disinfectant. The smell is also nice however it is very strong. Even if I used light spray, I feel like the smell goes to my lungs. I usually used it to my daughter’s small toilet as she is in toilet training and to our couch. I also use it to our toilet. I would like to use it in our lounge and kitchen but since the smell is too strong for me, I preferred not to use it there.
But overall, this is a great product and I will recommend this product to my friends.
Absolutely love it!!! Used it to kill the oudor coming from our nappy bin. Was also really good for out toilet as we have miss 3 toilet training.
The size is good. It’s doesn’t take much per use to, as we still have plenty left in our trial can (has been used almost everyday since it arrived)

Excellent product, smells great. Really helped with getting rid of those unpleasant odours aka smelly farters in the house 😉 great for the soft furnishings aswell and even sanitize the floor after the dog walks through the house after being in the calf paddock
This is a great product. I really liked using it in the bathroom and to disenfect toys and surfaces. I used this with paper towels which I like instead of using antibacterial wipes.
Great product, use on anything, pop one in the glove box of your car. You will be surprised how often you reach for it on the go 🙂
