Birds nests

These make great easter treats that the kids will love to make. You can use any kind of treats to put in the nest. Wrap them up and give them away as gifts

Ingredients

  • 2 two-minute noodles

    uncooked

  • 250g chocolate chips or block chocolate

  • jelly beans

  • chocolate eggs

  • marshmallows

  • peanut butter

  • baking paper

  • paper plates

  • 1 Paper plates
  • 1 Baking paper
  • 1 Microwave
  • 1 Bowl

Instructions

  1. Line paper plates with baking paper.
  2. Melt chocolate chips/brick chocolate in microwave and pour into bowl of uncooked, broken 2 minute noodles. Mix well to coat.
  3. Place spoonfuls of noodle mixture onto plates and mould into nest shapes. Make sure the chocolate has cooled but not so much that the mixture hardens.
  4. Using peanut butter as glue, stick down jelly beans, marshmallow and eggs inside the nest cavity.
