Tongue twister writing practice

To get the full effect of tongue twisters you should repeat them several times, as quickly as possible, without stumbling or mispronouncing. Good luck!

Activity:

Create your very own tongue twister.

Take a sheet of lined paper and clearly write the tongue twister on one line.

Ask your child to copy the tongue twister three times below.

Notes

  • This is a fun way children can practice their handwriting skills.
  • This activity is really useful for children starting to learn cursive writing because they will get plenty of practice at linking letters – especially if you make up a new tongue twister each time they have to practice handwriting.
