Create a favourites pinboard

A few of my favourite things is an innovative art and craft project to inspire your children’s artistic talents and creativity. Create a keepsake board that records your happy family memories together, or get some great ideas on what makes your child smile!

What you need:

• Posterboard
• Scissors
• Magazines / junk mail
• Glue

Activity:

Create a “favourites” billboard with things heading to the bin!

Have your child flip through magazines, junk mail, toy catalogues and any other paper based material you have around the house.

They can highlight, turn down pages, pull out or whatever is easiest as the first step in identifying relevant items.

Then cut out the selected words, pictures or anything else that helps communicate their favourite things, toys, people and more.

Finally, glue or tape on to the posterboard.
