Milo Biscuits

These chewy, malty Milo biscuits are a hit with kids, big and small! Bake a batch as an after school snack served with a glass of milk or pop one in a lunch box for a special treat.

Ingredients

  • 125g butter

  • 1 egg

  • 1 cup self raising flour

  • 2 Milo

  • Few vanilla

  • 1 cup coconut

  • ¾ cup caster sugar

  • ¼ cup chocolate chips

Equipment

  • 1 Mixing bowl
  • 1 Baking tray
  • 1 Oven

Instructions

  1. Cream butter and sugar. Add egg, Milo, vanilla, and mix well.
  2. Add flour and coconut. Mix well.
  3. Place teaspoons of rolled mixture on a lined baking tray.
  4. Bake in a moderate oven for approximately 10 minutes.

Notes

Variation
For extra chocolate, add 1/4 cup of chocolate chips to the mixture.
