Sausage rolls

Who can say no to a hot sausage roll with lashings of tomato sauce. These ones are quick and ready within minutes

Ingredients

  • 500g sausage mince

  • 1 large onion

    diced

  • ½ cup tomato sauce

  • to taste salt

  • to taste pepper

  • to taste parsley

  • 6 slices puff pastry

    cut into halves

Equipment

  • 1 Mixing bowl
  • 1 Baking tray

Instructions

  1. Mix all the ingredients together (except for the pastry).
  2. Form a long sausage shape down the middle of each half of pastry, and roll up.
  3. Cut into any desired size. You can do party sausage rolls or big ones.
  4. Bake till pastry is puffed up, and slightly browned.

Variation
You can make party-sized sausage rolls or larger ones depending on your preference.
