Paper bag monsters
Make your own gang of ghoulishly magnificent monster lunch bags to put on your verandah or doorstep and bring some Halloween smiles to your kids’ faces. Your visitors will be impressed with these simple and fun decorations so get crafting today.
What you need:
- Paper bags
- Old magazines
- Scissors
- Glue
- Stones or a small brick

Activity:
Find images of eyes, noses and mouths in your old magazines.
Cut out the facial features and glue them mid-height on the paper bags.
Make each monster different with fun expressions and colourful faces.
Cut the top of the paper bags into a fringe.
Twist each fringe piece into a curly point or angled fold.
Place by the front door or on the verandah and put a stone or small brick in the base of each bag to keep it in place.
