Easter egg bocce
Eggs are traditionally associated with Easter so what better kids' activity to keep the little ones busy than Easter egg bocce (bowls)! Don't worry – we're talking hard boiled eggs of course. Anything else would just be a yolk!
What you need:
- hard boiled egg (uncoloured)
- 2 dyed hard boiled eggs of the same colour per child. For example, 2 pink eggs, 2 blue eggs, 2 yellow eggs, etc.
Number of players:
1+
Activity:
Gather your coloured eggs. You can find a great egg dying recipe here.
Have player one throw the plain egg out in the field. Not too far, make sure the little ones can reach it too.
Each player rolls or tosses their first coloured egg to try to get as close to the plain egg as possible.
Each player will have a second turn using their second coloured egg, trying to knock the other kids' eggs further from the plain egg – or get theirs closer.
Measure the distance of the eggs from the plain egg. The closest to the plain egg is the winner
