Easter gift ideas without the chocolate

Easter doesn’t have to be all about chocolate. Some kids just aren’t that keen on chocolate, some have intolerances, and some have an amazing ability to get melted chocolate fingerprints on EVERYTHING! Whether you want to cut down on the sugar rush (or the cleaning bill!), or you’re just looking for something different for Easter this year, we’ve gathered together a few of our favourite chocolate-free gift ideas.

I love these ideas!! I would much prefer to give my kids a toy that they can play with, or a book to read than lots of chocolate! I will be just giving them a couple of eggs this year.

I would love to try an escape hunt. That sounds so fun! This year I have mainly gone with non-chocolate gifts. We have some chalk eggs for outside drawing. Teeshirts with bunny ears as well. We also got some Hacthimals Colleggitbles because the new basket that is out was adorable.

i love the escape hunt idea for older kids – great family time together. the emotion eggs are also a cool idea – had not heard of these before – would be interested to hear about anyone that has used them.

Such neat ideas here! When mine are little they get an easter book, and then once they get to around 3 they get chocolate. But I also like to buy my nephew something but as the bunny visits him he already gets a lot of chocolate so I like to get him something a bit different- definitely going to get something for him off this list as there are only so many easter books he needs (that’s what I have given him the last few years!)

We have never really been into the Easter thing – we often will just go on a picnic (weather permitting) and our 5 year old may get 1 small easter egg but that’s about it. It’s just Consumerism gone mad 🙂

One of my kids hates chocolate so a gift of another thing I will have to find before Easter. As for the other 2 they just love chocolate and get so excited about Easter bunny coming.
