Oh I love the following in daddy’s footsteps idea, we always get crafty for fathers day as every year they create something new and unique, this year my son has done a digital animation for his dad and our 9 and 5 yr old have both done special cards with special treats stuck to them.
I really like the í love you this much card with the hands – very cute and looks easy without making too much mess in the process. Will have to try this next year when the kids are a bit older.
All great ideas 🙂 We don’t do the gift thing for Father’s Day but myself and our 6 year old always make a home made card and a coffee or brekky in bed 🙂 He really loves that.

There are some really cool ideas here!! I’ve just bought the kids a card to fill in for Dad but I always like to have them each do something personal from them for Dad that is age appropriate. I also teach on Friday’s so will use a few of these ideas with my class.
What great ideas my 2 youngest still enjoy making cards for there dad on Father’s Day. They have done poems as well which are really great. I like the sound of a digital art card as well so they learn how to make it as well. When the kids were at pre school they always came home with something but not always that they are at primary school.
