Ingredients
1 cup plain flour
(225g)
1 cup caster sugar
(220g)
3 tbsp cocoa
1 tsp bicarbonate soda
½ tsp salt
1 cup cold water
(250ml)
⅓ cup vegetable oil
(80ml)
1 tsp vinegar
1 tsp vanilla extract
Equipment
- 1 20cm x 20cm square non-stick baking pan
- 1 Whisk
- 1 Oven
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 180°C (160°C fan-forced). Find a 20cm x 20cm square non-stick baking pan.
- Place the flour, sugar, cocoa, bicarbonate soda and salt straight into the cake pan. Whisk together to combine.
- Add the remaining ingredients to the pan and whisk well.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick placed into the centre comes out clean.
