No bake hazelnut slice

This is a great recipe for the kids to help with as there is no baking and it is ready in minutes. It taste delicious and is perfect for an afternoon snack or to pop in as a treat in the lunchbox

Ingredients

  • 125g butter

  • 3 cups condensed milk

  • 2 tbsp golden syrup

  • 250g Milk Arrowroot biscuits

    finely chopped

  • 1 cup flaked almonds

  • 250g Cadbury hazelnut chocolate

  • 60g copha

  • 1 small saucepan
  • 1 bowl
  • 1 18 x 28 cm slab tin
  • 1 baking paper

Instructions

  1. Place butter, condensed milk and syrup into a small saucepan, stir over low heat until butter is melted and simmer for 2 minutes.
  2. Place biscuits crumbs into bowl, add almonds and butter mixture and mix well.
  3. Grease and line a 18 x 28 cm slab tin with baking paper.
  4. Press mixture evenly and firmly into base of tin, refrigerate.
  5. Combine chocolate and copha in pan, stir over low heat until melted and pour chocolate over base. Refrigerate.
