Popsicle stick ballerinas

Get your ballerina craft on with these tiny dancers made out of popsicle sticks and cupcake wrappers.

What you need:

  • 1 x popsicle stick
  • 1 x cupcake wrapper
  • 1 x pipe cleaner (trimmed to 12cm)
  • small piece of string or ribbon (for the bow)
  • black marker pen
  • red marker pen
  • glue
  • scissors

Fold the cupcake wrapper in half and flatten it out.

Glue the flattened wrapper onto the popsicle stick: leave enough space for legs at the bottom and for a body at the top.

Now get your pipe cleaner and twist it into place for the arms (see video).

Draw on some feet, eyes, a mouth and hair.

Tie a small bow in the piece of string. Glue it to the top of the ballerina’s head.

Your tiny dancer is ready to dance.
