Keep it sweet and simple when it comes to keeping your toddler’s bedroom tidy. This toy box created out of a wooden crate is a clever idea for storing toys and books – and it looks great too.

You will need:
- Small wooden crate
- Masking tape
- Pencil and ruler
- Roller and tray
- Artist brush and testpot brush
- Castors
- Liquid nails
- Resene testpots in your choice of colours: we used Resene Alabaster, Resene Bellbottom Blue, Resene Blackout, Resene Pretty in Pink and Resene Spotlight.
Step-by-step instructions
Step 2 – Roll over the crate with Resene Alabaster, remove the tape and leave to dry.
