Babys first smoothie

This is a delicious baby smoothie that is a variation of the grown-up one. Baby tummies may not be up for cow's milk when they first start solids but yoghurt is so much more baby friendly. Wizz it up with some berries and watch them ask for more please!

Ingredients

  • 2g Yoplait Petit Miam fromage frais or other smooth fruit yoghurt

  • 3 tbsp frozen berries

  • ¼ cup cooled boiled water

Equipment

  • 1 blender
  • 1 strainer

Instructions

  1. Place all ingredients in a blender and blend until completely smooth.
  2. Pour through a strainer and serve.

Notes

Tip
The reason I strain this is that frozen berries have raspberries in them which have tiny seeds and this can put babies off.
Tip
If your baby can’t use a straw yet just try this in a sippy cup.
Tip
As with all first foods you give your a baby a small sample of berries to check their reaction first.
Variation
You can swap the frozen berries for strawberries or banana as well.
