Southwest Turkey & Salsa Salad

It only takes 5 mintues to prepare this lovely salad. The store in the fridge and when its time to eat - shake, shake, shake!

Ingredients

  • 1 Taylor Farms Southwest Chopped Salad Kit

    remove package with dressing and toppings

  • ¾ cup cooked seasoned ground turkey

  • 1 cup pico de gallo salsa

    strained

  • 1 whole avocado

    cubed

  • 1 4 pint size Mason jars with lids

Instructions

  1. Open the Taylor Farms Southwest Chopped Salad Kit and remove package with dressing and toppings.
  2. Evenly divide dressing into the base of each Mason jar.
  3. Next, divide the following items evenly in each jar, building from the base up; seasoned ground turkey, salsa and then the Southwest chopped salad vegetable base.
  4. Top the vegetables with avocado cubes.
  5. Lastly, open the topping package included in the Taylor Farms chopped salad kit and sprinkle toppings evenly on each salad.
  6. Tightly seal the lid and refrigerate until ready to eat.
  7. Then, shake, shake, shake and ENJOY!

Notes

Tip
Strain the salsa well to ensure the salad stays crisp.
Variation
Substitute ground turkey with shredded chicken or black beans for a vegetarian option.
Storage
Store in the refrigerator in sealed Mason jars for up to 3-4 days.
