Crunchy chocolate slice

Serves:

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons of cocoa
  • 3 weetbix- crushed
  • 1 cup coconut
  • 1 cup self-raising flour
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 and 1/4 cups of butter

Icing

  • 2 tbsp cocoa
  • 1 cup icing sugar
  • 1 tbsp milk
  • 1 tbsp butter, melted
  • 1 tsp vanilla essence
  • 1 tbsp coconut

Method

Combine cocoa, weet-bix, coconut, self-raising flour and sugar in a bowl.

Melt the butter add to the other ingredients.

Stir until well combined.

Press into a tray and bake for 20 minutes at 180 C.

Meanwhile make icing:  Sift icing sugar and cocoa and stir in melted butter, vanilla essence, and milk.

When when the slice is cool, spread with chocolate icing and sprinkle coconut over the top.

Cut into squares.
