About the Blink card game

Whether you’re the one who dominates family game night or you’ve got a child who just seems to have the magic touch, Blink is the latest card game that you need to be playing.

Blink is the lightning-fast game where two players race head-to-head to be the first to play all of their cards! Using sharp eyes and fast hands, players quickly try to match the shape, count or colour on the cards. Don’t be fooled by the games’ simplicity – your hand-eye coordination will be put to the test! The first player who can rid themselves of all their cards wins. Fast and portable, the Blink card game is instant fun for everyone!

What did Emma and her family think?

Emma has a reputation for winning all family game nights and one round of Blink proved that this card game is no exception!

Despite Emma retaining her game-night crown, her whole family had so much fun playing Blink together. A quick game with simple rules to grasp, the whole family found it was just challenging enough to keep them entertained.

Blink is great for small or large families. It’s possible to play the game with either 2, 3 or 4 players by simply dealing fewer cards to more people and the rules are easily explained so little players can quickly pick up the steps with the help of mum and dad initially.

The aim of the game is to be the first to empty your hands of the cards. You’ve got to match the shape, colour, number or symbols on your cards to the ones on the two discarded piles in the centre (think UNO). As soon as a player lays down one card, they can draw another and have up to 3 cards in their hands – simple, but it comes fast and furious!

Blink is a great game that Emma’s mum will be keeping up her sleeve for their next roadie up to nana’s house. Lightweight and a whole lot of fun, Blink also makes a great stocking stuffer or something for the grandparents to buy for the kids this Christmas.

So, get playing! Blink is available at The Warehouse during their annual Big Toy Month.
