Spicy crab dip recipe
- 250g cream cheese, room temperature
- 1 small onion, minced
- 6 drops Tabasco
- 2 cans crab meat, drained
- 1 cob loaf
- flaked almonds
Pre-heat oven to 180°C or 160°C fan forced.
Mix cream cheese, onion, Tabasco and crab meat together.
Slice off top of cob and hollow inside, reserving chunks of bread.
Pour crab mixture into hollowed-out cob. Sprinkle with flaked almonds.
Place on baking tray with reserved bread chunks.
Bake until almonds and chunks of bread are golden. Serve.
- If you want a healthier dip, use low fat cream cheese instead.
- In place of tabasco, you can substitute sweet chilli sauce.
