Philips Avent Double Electric Breast Pump

The Philips Avent Double Electric [Breast] Pump is quiet and very comfortable to use. It doesn’t drip when removing as it has a ridge just inside the flange that catches any milk as you remove it from your breast. I can see down through the pump from the top at how much is dropping into the bottle so it’s easy to monitor my milk flow. 10/10 for this product I highly recommend.

TheNZsuperNanny

All in all I’d highly recommend this pump, it is efficient, user friendly, and above all else comfortable to use- definitely the best home pump I’ve used so far.

I’ve used this for about a week every day and each day I have seen great results, within 15minutes I have been getting atleast 50-80mls from each breast, so imagine what a full pumping session will provide!

The Philips Avent Double Electric [Breast] Pump is a dream to use, having the flexible shield size means you don’t need to measure your nipples and then make sure you are using the right size for you, this pump literally works for everyone. The 16 expression settings is the best thing if your supply is a bit lower, as you just find the setting that best fits your day. It literally gets your letdown flowing within 10 seconds!! I was so impressed …

Sleek, easy to use and convenient; it’s definitely the one-stop shop of breast pumps, particularly that it has the double pump capability too. I would definitely recommend this pump to any new mum (or seasoned mum who needs an upgrade from your clunky old machine). You’re worth it!

What a pleasure it was to recieve and be able to review the Philips Avent double breast pump. On arrival, I was excited to see it included everything I needed to be able to discreetly express at work. As a working mum of two; convenience, efficiency and comfort are very important. The product comes fully equipped with a slim insulated bag, a discreet carry bag, the machine, 2 small Avent bottles, 2 teats and lids as well as the little caps to cover the bottles once you’ve finished expressing.

    Things I love:

    – Compact
How small is this machine! The whole thing, I could almost fit it in just my hand. It’s slim and light weight. Definitely beats lugging around the brick phone equivalent of pumps.

    – Discreet
When a pump doesn’t look like a pump to an untrained eye, that’s a win! Last thing I want is for the entire workplace to know what I’m doing in my lunch break. It’s quieter than my other machine and doesn’t make me feel so “cow” like while expressing.

    – Convenient
From an extra long plug cord to the fact that it all comes ready for you to take and go, you can tell it was designed with convenience in mind. The fact that the neck of the device is designed so you can sit upright and not hunched over has been a dream for my back.

    – Customisable
With 16 pump speeds and 8 stimulation speeds and a toggle between pump and stimulate, you can adjust to whatever speed and comfort level you prefer. I found slowly building to top speed, it was still comfortable and painfree. It also remembers what your last setting was after you turn it off and back on again.

    – Easy to clean!
The width of the neck makes it a lot more accessible to clean with a variery of brushes. It’s sleek and doesn’t have tiny corners and crevices that are a pain to get to where the milk splatters to. The fact that it has parts to separate the milk from the tubing is amazing.

    Things that I noticed:

There are only 2 things I noticed that I didn’t like so much but are definitely not a deal breaker to using the machine on the regular.

    – The cord placement on the machine is awkward. It keeps tangling with the tubes.

    – The strongest setting is not as strong as my other pump (although that one is probably industrial strength judging by its size and loudness)

Overall, this is an amazing pump and definitely worth the money. It would be the only pump you need from newborn all the way to when you start back at work if that’s what you choose to do. Sleek, easy to use and convenient; it’s definitely the one stop shop of breast pumps particularly that it has the double pump capability too.

I would definitely recommend this pump to any new mum (or seasoned mum who needs an upgrade from your clunky old machine). You’re worth it!

The phillips Avent double electric pump is quiet and very comfortable to use.

This is my third pump and by far the best.

What i like is that i can hold both pumps with one hand, using my wrist to hold one pump on and then my hand on the other pump – leaving one hand free to adjust the settings.

It doesn’t drip when removing as it has a ridge just inside the flange that catches any milk as you remove it from your breast.

I can see down through the pump from the top at how much is dropping into the bottle so it’s easy to monitor my milk flow.

Its very easy to dismantle, clean and put back together.

And so quiet! I can use it at night right beside my sleeping baby no trouble.

Its lite and compact. Great for me as I travel alot.

10/10 for this product I highly recommend.
