In the early hours of May 6th, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle welcomed a baby boy into their ever-so-slightly famous family. The new royal baby, called Archie, is seventh in line for the throne.
Despite numerous tabloid stories indicating that Meghan had already given birth weeks ago and it was all being kept hush hush, the birth was announced within 24 hours via Instagram.

Prince Harry has spoken about his new son and was rightly emotional:
“I haven’t been in many births, this is definitely my first birth! But it was amazing, absolutely incredible, and as I said, I’m so incredibly proud of my wife. As every father and parent would say, your baby is absolutely amazing. But this little thing is absolutely to die for, so I’m just over the moon.”

Lovely name. I think its nice that the couple didn’t go with a more formally English sounding name, its nice.
I really like his name and his middle name Harrison – son of Harry. So cute! Harry announcing the birth was adorable too.
I love the name, not overly traditional but not too out there! And the baby himself is super cute!!

For some odd reason when I hear Archie…it’s the comic character that comes to mind. But overall, it sounds more modern than the usual naming conventions. It’s the sign of the times.
Very cool their baby had finally arrived…and he is so cute… im not sure about the name Archie as it does not sound royal to me…but hey its THEIR child and they can name him whatever they like… so congrats to the royals and welcome baby Archie
I love the name Archie – I think that it would suit someone who is a bit cheeky – like Harry.
I love the name. I think its rather cute. It’s not too known around so makes it that little bit unique also. They seem like such proud parents. Very cool. I love photos etc of the new royalty additions. They are always super cute 😍

I like the name Archie there are several children I know already with this name it seems very popular especially at our local school. They look such great parents as well which is great and very relaxed.
