Healthy chocolate power balls

These healthy chocolate power balls are filling and sweet enough to satisfy the most intense 3pm chocolate craving. I try to have a jar of these in the fridge and reach for them after dinner instead of dessert or any time I'm hankering for something sweet.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups walnuts

  • 2 cups dates

    pitted

  • ¾ cup cocoa powder

  • 1 cup raw almonds

  • ¼ cup honey

Equipment

  • 1 food processor

Instructions

  1. Place walnuts in food processor and blend until the nuts are finely ground. Add the dates, cocoa powder, almonds and honey and keep pulsing until you have a fine but sticky crumb mixture.
  2. Roll this into little balls about the size of a golf ball.

Notes

Tip
You could also roll these in cocoa powder.
Variation
Roll in coconut once finished.
Variation
Swap the almonds for pepitas, sesame seeds or LSA mix.
Storage
Keep in the fridge for up to two weeks.
