For the face painting, mix up some black and white paints from our homemade face paint recipe here.

How to create your Dracula costume

Use a makeup sponge to do an all-over base of white first.

Now fill in a widow’s peak, sideburns and some ‘walking dead’ black around the eyes. Dramatic eyebrows are another Dracula signature, so give that a go too.

If you want to make him really creepy, add a few dribbles of blood coming out of his mouth.

Now add a pair of black pants, a white shirt (if you have them, if not just drape the cape over the clothes underneath) and some vampire teeth.

And remember, Dracula is always dramatic: he enters and exits a room with flair!
