    Marshmallow cereal bars

    Ingredients

    • 50g unsalted butter
    • 300g pink and white marshmallows
    • 175g cereal such as cornflakes, hoops, crisped rice

    Method

    Lightly oil a small baking tin.

    Melt the butter in a large saucepan over a low heat, add the marshmallows and melt, stirring continuously.

    Remove from the heat and stir in the cereal.

    Tip in the prepared tin. Press down using the back of a spoon (this works best if you lightly oil the spoon to stop sticking).

    Leave to set. Cut into squares and serve.
