Halloween decorations don’t have to be expensive or elaborate. These simple Halloween bon bons is a must-have for any spooky party or even as a treat for trick-or-treating costumed kidlets.

What you need:

  • cardboard paper rolls (or make your own with some card)
  • black and white paint
  • brushes
  • googly eyes
  • glitter paper
  • black glitter
  • ribbon
  • scissors
  • craft glue
  • lollies and treats

Activity:

Step 1. Paint your paper roll black and push the sides together creating 2 points at the top.

Step 2. Stick on googly eyes then paint the mouth on with white paint. Make sure you add the fangs!

Step 3. Decorate your bat’s tummy in any shapes you like with your glue then sprinkle on glitter. Zig zags look really effective.

Step 4. Using your glitter paper, cut your bat wings out and stick them onto the back.

Step 5. Fill your bat from the bottom with lollies and treats. Fold the bottom of the bat inwards securing your treats inside. Loop your ribbon through tying a bow so you can hang it upside down.
