The Little Lambs’ Great New Zealand Easter Egg Hunt picture book written by Yvonne Mes follows little lambs as they travel the mountain, scrub, and oceanfront on the hunt for special Kiwiana eggs.
This is such a sweet story and in our opinion is a must for any Kiwi kid! The beautiful illustrations bring the magic of this story to life. Ruby (6) loved joining the five little lambs on their adventure to meet New Zealand native birds and their special eggs. Ruby was so happy that she was able to read most of the book by herself.
The Little Lambs’ Great New Zealand Easter Activity Book is filled with fun activities to suit both pre-schoolers and children a bit older. Ruby absolutely loved the range of activities on offer that included dot-to-dots and crosswords, and of course a lot of colouring activities which are always a winner. She was totally absorbed in the activities which was great to see.
Overall we loved this Aotearoa-themed way to celebrate Easter.
