Thank you kidspot for letting us trial the pineapple flavored mini pump water. The kids were abit skeptical when they first tasted the water ( NO ADDED SUGAR.. YAY), but the more they drank it they loved it, it definitely doubled their water intake today and with the bottles being the perfect size they really seemed to enjoy it, I did notice the little kids struggled to take the caps off, but once it was off they were gone hehe, they are definitely a hit my babies and their friends, so again thank you.
We received the apple flavour which the whole family loved. The 250ml size is perfect for getting kids to drink a lot of water through out the day and easy to pop in a back pack while you’re out and about.
My 5 year old did struggle to get the cap off but I have noticed a lot of drink bottles now have similar caps.
Thanks for giving us the opportunity to trial this product. We would definitely recommend it
I tried to post a photo but didn’t work lol my darlings are loving this free trial they love the taste of this water but most of all they’ve loved sharing these bottles with their friends xo
Thanks Kidspot for letting us trial Pump mini apple flavour. It was huge hit in out house!
It double the kids water intake immediately and they love the flavour of the water. I love it as it has no added sugars no preservatives and natural flavourin. But the amount of plastic we are left with is crazy! Especially the small lids.
Possible a flat lid would be a better option to so less plastic about. Will definitely be telling our friends and family about the water and buying more 🙂
We received the pineapple flavor. The bottle looks nice and I think it is attractive for kids so they will be willing to drink from it. My son loved it. He usually not much into drinking water but he likes drinking from this bottle. The lid is hard to open so I am happy he won’t split water on himself. I like it has no added sugar.
I think these are great for days out to keep kids hydrated and energized.
The only thing that concerns me is amount of plastic bottles. I’d prefer it to come in glass bottle or bigger size so there wasn’t much waste.
Otherwise we like it so thanks for the opportunity.
We received the pump mini apple flavor just as Mr 6 fell ill. This was an awesome way to keep him hydrated when he didnt want water, without falling into the trap of offering other sugary drinks just to get some fluids into him. I found the bottle size and nozzle flow perfect to have next to the couch, in the bedroom etc to be able to drink propped up.
Once we got through that it turned into a great treat to have when out and about ‘working’ on the land with Dad and playing outside with little sister, Miss almost 3.
Mr 6 said he would think about buying the pump mini flavoured water over a juice if we were choosing a treat at a shop but Miss 3 was not a big fan of the apple flavour. She asked me to put normal water in the bottle as she loved the bottle. I would definitely reccomend this product due to the lack of sugar and bottle design, however i agree with other reviewers regarding the difficulty of removing the nozzle cap. I find the bottle sturdy enough to reuse muliple times so i find the ‘using plastic guilt’ not a huge issue for me.
Thanks for letting us try the apple flavour pump water. It’s the perfect size and shaped bottle for little hands, my 4 year old was so keen to try it, and liked it but preferred it cold from the fridge over room temperature. Little miss nearly 2 loves it, she was carrying her one around all afternoon, I did like that if she tipped it over that not much comes out which was great, the nozzle design suited her but was still easy to drink from without too much effort. I would buy it again if we forgot our drinks somewhere as I liked the mo added sugar but still a bit of flavour over normal plain water. Thanks again
we received the pineapple flavoured water. the first thing I noticed was the ingredients on the bottle that said there was no sugar in it which I obviously questioned because I know fruit has natural sugars , but not sure if the amount of sugar can be known? I tried the water and found it tasted normal water but a tiny bit sour but smelt like pineapple. Mr 3 didn’t like it at all but miss 2 loved it. the lids were quite hard to take off which is good for my children as they are young and I don’t want them opening it and tipping it everywhere but it was even hard for me , I like the little holes I thought they were a good idea because if they spill the water not much comes out. I would buy this again if I was out and about and forgot water it’s definetely better then the usual flavoured pump
Thanks Kidspot for the opportunity to trail pump water.
We got the apple flavour which was nice chilled but not very fond of it at room temperature.
Great size bottle and shape for little hands , because bottle is only 250 mils we did pack 2 when on outings but great size for bag.
I found the lid hard to get off ( not sure if doing something wrong when trying to remove but still haven’t got the hang of it) so not sure my little one would manage it on own.
I love that its a healthy sugar free flavoured drink and will continue to purchase these drinks in the future and looking forward to trying the pineapple flavour and would love to see me flavours in the future. ☺
Thanks so much for our box of apple pumps! The kids wanted to try them straight away! Mr 4 and 6 found the bottle a little hard to open at first. Perfect sipping spout for little kids. They said the flavour was a little sour but once chilled they tasted much better. Even the adults had a try too! The size for the smaller kids was perfect as the can carry their own bottle on many different outings. I was loving being able to give them something that was not full of sugar!! We will be buying these again!
We were so excited to have received a box of pineapple flavour pump minis!
My 2 year old absolutely loved them as a guilt free , sugar free treat! A great alternative to other sugary drinks. They are the perfect size to take out on a fanoly picnic at the park . The child friendly cap is also a bonus, my 2 year old had no issue using it. Will definitely be getting these again! Thank youv
Thank you for the box of pineapple flavoured Pump Mini to try. We tried them with extended family ages 2,3,5,6 and 8 and 3 adults. All the kids found it difficult to open the cap but the older two got it after a few tries. They could all suck from the sipper lid easily and get the right amount but not so much that it makes the younger ones choke like often happens with full-sized water bottles. We all found the flavour a bit weird, it tasted very weak but the kids readily drank it anyway, though claimed it was ‘yuck’ We used the bottles whenever we needed a quick grab and go drink- perfect for school holiday spur of the moment outings. I liked that being small it didn’t take up a lot of space and weight in the bag when we wanted to take a drink for each child out and about. The novelty factor encouraged my oldest (8) to drink them when we were at home but I believe this would wear off quickly and the size was a bit small for him but perfect for the pre-schoolers. There was a lot of plastic waste produced and because of this we wouldn’t buy them regularly. We thought perhaps they could be enjoyed as a special yet healthier drink sold with kids meals at food trucks/fast food places. I’d rather they had this product than juice/fruit drink in similar bottles and I think the younger ones at least (and maybe the older ones who don’t particularly like sweet things) could be convinced this is an acceptable treat when flavoured drinks are offered.
Thank you we received a box of pineapple flavour.
Straight away my children and children in care were very interested in the box on the doorstep – as soon as I told them they wanted to try!
The lids are very hard and I was handed most to remove for them, the youngest (2) couldn’t open her nozzle everyone else could. I love the bottle shape and size very easy for little hands and perfect for the handbag when going out. The design on the bottle is cool – they all liked finding the pineapple on the bottle and everybody (had 5 children that day) loved the water saying it was .. yumm, nice, refreshing… – but the older children did find it hard to drink out of the bottles – I found it hard to get a mouthful when tried.
We used the product in a number of ways … with a snack for traveling, movies, picnic, at home … I do homebased child care and provide all food so it was nice to provide a sugar free alternative to just water and they all finished their bottle that day – if I was out and about with them I would look for these bottles if we needed drinks while out.
yes I think it encourages children to drink more water everytime my boy opened the fridge he asked “can I have a pineapple water?”.
I wouldn’t buy a box just to have at home – only because of all the plastic but if out and about I would definitely buy in single bottles.
Thank you for the wonderful opportunity to trial and review this product. We arrived home from Kōhanga Reo and the courier pulled in behind us, so the timing was perfect! They were still chilled. We received the pineapple flavor, which miss 2 loved. With comments like ”mmmm reka” ( reka = yum) and “pai wai” (good water) i believe it was a hit. She’s definitely consumed more water than usual over the last week, helping with hydration and constipation. We took the water with us to Kōhanga, the playground & visiting friends & family, very convenient size for ”grab on the go” and for little hands. The nozzle is great, my girl had nearly no spills which was great! We have now recycled half and refilled the other half of them which sit in the fridge with plain water. Would love it if you could sell a concentrate as the amount of plastic waste is a bit worrying. Only one down fall to this product and that is the cap, was very hard for us to get off every time. The best thing about the trial for me as a parent was seeing how much water she was consuming freely without it being offered, would definitely purchase more if we were unprepared whilst out & about. Thank you again.
We trialled the pineapple flavour. My almost 7 and 3 year old did not like the taste and found the bottle cap hard to remove. I also found it tasted bitter and flavorless and the caps were hard to remove but got used to it after a couple goes. The holes in the sipper part are really good but the bottles are very stiff.
As a bizzy mum of 8 getting my children to drink water can be a challenge !we are on the go alot
With rugby an ripper rugby I would love to try these out .
Thank you for the opportunity to trial this product! We received the apple flavour and I was interested to see how Miss 2 and Master 9 would take to the flavoured water as they are already really good at drinking water daily 🙂 Master 9 tried it first and he liked it! I tried it and thought it was incredibly mildly flavoured, far less flavoursome than other flavoured water I have tried in the past. Perhaps this is because there is no added sugar? Not a bad thing in my opinion! Next up was Miss 2 and she surprisingly didn’t like it! This was quite a shock to me as she loves her water usually and she especially loves juice. I tried to market it to her as ‘juicy water’ but she wouldn’t have a bar of it! Hubby also had a try and wasn’t a fan so overall we had a mixed response in our home, half os us liked it and half of us didn’t. I wouldn’t normally buy a product like this because of the huge amount of wasted plastic, recyclable or not. It is a better choice than juice but no good if the kids won’t drink it. I took a bottle with me when walking our baby and that was a good size. We also had them with afternoon tea. Handy size, the nozzle was a bit tricky for our little one.
Thanks for allowing us to trial these. We received the apple flavour. These are awesome. Perfect for taking anywhere. Miss 11 took them to taekwon-do, the holiday program and to the park along with other places. The rest of the family also had some. We prefer cold water, so found them to be nicer once they had been in the fridge for a few hours. I love that there’s no sugar and natural flavours, along with no preservatives. We found the sealed top a little hard to get off to start with, but was fairly easy once figured out. Would be hard for little ones though and most likely would need an adult to do this. The pop top is easy enough to open while being tight enough so it doesn’t leak if knocked over. As a bonus these are a good size to freeze or half freeze and pop in the lunch box to keep things cool. I usually have trouble getting miss 11 to drink water but these were a hit, so a big plus for me. We really liked these and would get in the future.
We received the pineapple flavoured water. My two boys enjoyed trying something a little bit out of the ordinary. They use small pump water bottles anyway, so had no issues with opening or using the nozzle. It’s great that the bottles can be reusable. The boys are big water drinkers, so the occasional flavoured water will be a nice treat for them.
Thanks for the opportunity to trial Pineapple pumped mini. Our 10 year old and visitors enjoyed the refreshing mild taste. The lids are hard to remove but it’s great to have a healthier alternative to high sugar drinks when out and about. These would be great sold at the fast food outlets to steer our kids towards a healthier drink option. I personally wouldn’t purchase these for home use due to the plastic waste but would rather my child have one of these than a frozen coke when visiting McDonalds. Thankyou.
Thank you for the opportunity to try this product. We received the pineapple flavour. Unfortunately my kids didnt find the flavour too appealing. They’re older kids and they both had difficulty taking off the lid to drink the water. But as a concept, I/we thought it was a fantastic idea. Perfect for picnics, sports games, sleepovers, school lunch. Once again, thankyou.
We received the apple flavour and my 5 and 2 year old loved them, in fact, my 2 year old wouldn’t let hers go until she’d finished. This was great as she tends to take a long time to drink water. I asked my 5 year old what she thought and she said they were “very very nice”. I like the size of the bottle and the nozzle and even the design is appealing to children. Caps were a bit tricky to get off though. Great size for out and about. Thank you very much for allowing us to try these!
These arrived just at the right time ,with my grandchildren here visiting ,we were all excited to try these, however nana had difficulty opening the bottles and it was quite a struggle ,certainly kid and nana proof ,not a fan .
We were given the apple flavour .
One of the children said it was ok ,the other screwed their face up ,an absolute no from them .
So I decided to try them ,I found them bitter and unpleasant ,as did one of my grandchildren,,they did have an apple flavour a rather tart one at that .
The children both said they prefer plain water which they drink daily ,but they did like the mini bottles which would fit nicely in a school/kindy bag .
We all just drank from the bottle in my home with lunch .
The kid friendly nozzle worked well and the kids had no problems drinking from the bottle .
The bottles are a good size but as others commented quite a stiff plastic for little hands to hold ,no problem for the older one ,I liked that they were clearly marked with warning not suitable for under 36 mths ,no sweeteners ,preservatives ,no sugar ,messages were clear and easy to read for all .
Good that they can be recycled ,but just more waste to get rid of ,rather have a refillable bottle for the children .
I personally don’t see the need to have additives in water (flavour etc )and feel plain water is the best so wouldn’t be going out of my way to buy these especially as they really were not a hit with the children .
It compares better than large bottle of flavoured water as it’s designed with little ones in mind .
Thanks for the opportunity to trial these .
We received the pump mini’s in Pineapple flavour. My daughter Bella absolutely loves them. She loves the kid friendly nozzle and bottle size. She loved the pineapple flavour and it was so convenient having them to take out and about with us during the school holidays. It definitely encouraged her to drink more water. I would recommend this product to friends and family.
These were a great treat and just in time for the school holidays! We kept the box in the fridge and any time we have been out and about these holidays we have grabbed a couple on the run. The kids have enjoyed the bottles which are easy to use, and the flavour. We don’t really do juices and the like in this house, so the flavoured water was a great treat, especially as there is no sugar in the flavouring or drink itself.
Thanks Kidspot for including us in the trial.
We intend to recycle and reuse some of the packaging. That would be my only complaint – we are trying to reduce plastic in this house so this isn’t a sustainable option I would buy too often myself. But a great treat so thank you Kidspot and Pump for the opportunity,
It was perfect timing to find this box of Apple Pump mini’s on the doorstep as we arrived back with a playdate crew of 4 boys (ages 7-9) from adventures in the Botanical Gardens. Lunch was prepared and served with a mini Pump with apple flavor. I liked that the flavor had no sugar, no preservatives and no added sweeteners. What I did struggle with was the amount of plastic (I obviously knew there would be plastic when signing up for this trial but seeing an entire box of mini bottles that are single use and headed into the recycling bin made me realise how much we value our refillable drink bottles).
The children had mixed reviews, the taste was subtle which one didn’t like and three did like. They also mentioned the plastic factor but were considering ideas to reuse the bottles for other projects which I liked that they were thinking. The size was just right to compliment their lunch and would be good to take along on adventures as they aren’t too heavy to carry.
Overall it is unlikely we would purchase this product, but if the flavor was in a concentration that we could add to our refillable bottles I’d consider purchasing that. A flavor with no sweeteners, no sugar and no preservatives would add omf to the sometimes boring water that we take along with us.
Thank you for the opportunity to try this product.
I would love to trial this water for my 3 kids .
My son is four and would love to trial these. He is always drinking Grandmas H2Go etc – the flavoured ones.. which are full of sugar!
It was nice to be given the chance to review Pump mini’s. My 5 and 3-year-old like the fruity flavour and have been asking for more daily. There are some definite pros and cons.
The kids like the flavour, even though I personally don’t care for it. I suppose the novelty of it helps them to drink, but I feel like my three-year-old is left thirsty afterwards, asking for plain water when he’s done (I’m wondering if it’s the citric acid in the water?). As others have indicated, the top cap is very hard to get off, and I keep finding them thrown on the floor around the house, because it’s so hard to clip it back on and take it back off. The bottles are made of a quite thick plastic and are quite stiff to drink from, so I feel like it’s quite hard for little mouths to get a good mouthful of water. I’ve also been wondering what the ‘natural flavouring’ is that gives it the pineapple flavour. On top of this, I’m not too happy with all the empty plastic bottles I’m left with, even though they’re recyclable.
So overall, even though the kids like it, it isn’t a product I’d buy in the future, mostly because of sustainability reasons. It’s made me think how I can make my own flavoured water without having to deal with lots of empty plastic bottles. No matter the price, I personally wouldn’t be able to justify buying this product. Thank Kidspot for the review opportunity, the kids definitely love it !
Thank you so much for our chance to review. We got home to a box of pineapple pumps. My son (4.5yrs) ripped into the box as soon as he could and gave me the bottle to open he was so excited.
He loved it, loved the taste, the size of the bottle & everything about it.
Gave one to my 22mnth old also and she loved it just as much esp as shes not really even tasted juice before!
My son will happily drink one a day where he usually wouldnt drink a bottle of water as easily so its great hes staying hydrated!
I always carry them on me as they are such a handy size for the handbag & car.
When empty i refill with water and back in the fridge they go.
Kid friendly nozzle is great, doesnt flow too fast and overfill little mouths which is a bonus.
Only downside I can note is how hard the lid is to get off. Impossible for little hands! My mum even struggled. So we dispose of the lids and leave the nozzle free now!
