• Toothpicks or matchsticks
• Strawberries

Activity:

Wash and dry the strawberries.

Stick a matchstick or toothpick into a strawberry and then push another strawberry onto the other end of the matchstick.

Pierce the top of the strawberry with another toothpick and add a strawberry to the other end of this toothpick. Continue building from here – more strawberries and toothpicks, interconnecting them at different angles so that you build a stable model that you can sit on a table or plate.

When finished, enjoy showing off your molecule model before you munch into your strawberries!
