Summer means it’s time for water games and outdoor activities in the pool! So why not grab the family or your friends and challenge them to the cannonball pool jump. You don’t need anything other than your swimming costume and a few friends.

What you need:

• Pool (ensure that the water is a safe depth and that children are always actively supervised near water)

Number of players:
2+

Activity:

Line up the competitors by the side of the pool.

Ask for volunteers to act as judges. They will assign points for each splash. Award points based on the size of the splash and the style of entry.

To add to the fun, give entrants a challenge, ie

• Yell out your favourite food/movie/song as you jump in
• Choose a funny facial expression as you jump
• Turn it into a game of Simon Says
