Marshmallow construction

Marshmallows are great for all kinds of things, from cooking, camping, eating and building … building? This activity for kids is super fun and relies on the child's imagination alone. Not only can this be educational, it is also some yummy fun to have with the kids.

What you need:

• toothpicks
• marshmallows
• mini-marshmallows

Number of players:

Activity:

Pop your marshmallows into a bowl on the table.

Using the toothpicks, make some shapes, towers or other construction connecting the toothpicks and the marshmallows.

Discuss 3D shapes with the kids and try to make the shapes together.

Use the large marshmallows to add some height to a tower, or a larger, stronger foundation.
