Activity:
Fill a medium-sized shell with wet sand. This is the ship’s deck.
Cut out a flag shape from the craft paper. Draw a pirate symbol on it if you want.
Cut a small right-angle triangle out of the plastic bag. This becomes the ship’s sail.
Poke little holes along the triangle’s straight edge.
Carefully thread through a small twig or stick to act as the mast.
Once the mast is in place, tape the pirate flag to the top of the mast.
Now you’re ready to launch the vessel by pushing the mast into the centre of the sand in the shell and set sail!
