Wet sand play with stones

Beach kids can have so much fun with this outdoors craft. Get the kids collecting along the beach and craft with stones. Sandcastles are best decorated.

What you need:

• stones
• leaves
• sand
• water

Activity:

Collect stones and leaves of all shapes and sizes.

Build a mountain out of wet sand and stones.

Spike the leaves into the sand 'mountain' to form trees growing on a hill. 

Children can also play a treasure hunt with the stones by digging holes, hiding the stones in them and then trying to find them.
