Cheese twists

These crunchy cheese twist make great snacks with a glass of wine or pop them in the lunch box the kids will love them

Ingredients

  • 1 puff pastry

    slightly thawed

  • toppings of choice

    such as tomato sauce, vegemite, pesto, chutney

  • grated parmesan cheese

  • 1 oven
  • 1 baking tray

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 180°C.
  2. Place one sheet of puff pastry on bench, slightly thawed.
  3. Spread your topping of choice over the whole sheet.
  4. Sprinkle the cheese over the top of the sheet of pastry and very gently press.
  5. Cut the pastry sheet in half.
  6. Cut each half into approx 2 cm wide strips.
  7. Pick each strip up, twist carefully, place on a baking tray lined.
  8. Place into the oven for 10-12mins, or until puffed and brown.
