Healthy hoisin chicken pizza

These healthy Hoisin chicken pita pizzas will be ready in the same time it takes you to make pizza dough. Kids love these sweet and savoury flavours.

Ingredients

  • 4 wholemeal pita pockets

    about 15cm diameter

  • oil spray

  • 2 tbsp hoisin sauce

  • 1 tbsp plum sauce

  • 1 small clove garlic

    minced

  • 1 cup light mozzarella cheese

    100g, grated

  • 120g shaved chicken breast

  • 2 spring onions

    chopped

  • coriander or parsley

    for garnish

  • 1 oven
  • 1 oven trays
  • 1 baking paper

Instructions

  1. Heat oven to 220°C (200°C fan-forced) and line 2 oven trays with baking paper.
  2. Place pita bread on trays and spray lightly with oil.
  3. Mix hoisin and plum sauces with garlic and smear onto the pita bread.
  4. Sprinkle over half the cheese, top with chicken, spring onion and remaining mozzarella.
  5. Bake in the oven for 10-15 minutes until golden and the cheese has melted.
  6. Remove from the oven, sprinkle over herbs and serve.
