Equipment
- 1 Slice tin
- 1 Food processor (optional)
- 1 Small saucepan
- 1 Spoon
- 1 Bowl
Instructions
- Grease a slice tin with butter. A smaller tin is better; a 31 cm x 22cm tin can be used by pressing the mixture into only half of it.
- Crush biscuits by hand or in a food processor, leaving some lumps for texture.
- Add nuts, sultanas (if using), cocoa and coconut to the crushed biscuits.
- In a small saucepan, melt butter, then stir in sugar, and vanilla.
- Stir the butter mixture through the biscuit mixture and then stir in the lightly beaten egg.
- Press the mixture firmly into the prepared tin with the back of a spoon.
- Put a bit of cold water on your fingers to press down the top so it is smooth.
- To make the icing, combine icing sugar and cocoa in a bowl and stir in enough water to form a spreadable paste.
- Spread the icing over the slice and refrigerate overnight.
- Cut into squares to serve.

Oh man, I think I have to make this. None of my family like nuts! But chocolate and pecan sounds delicious!!
