Rainbow chip cookies




  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup butter, softened
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2 cups plain flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • pinch of salt
  • 3/4 cup milk


Cream sugar and butter. Beat in vanilla and egg.

In a separate bowl, sift the flour, baking soda and salt.

Add this to the creamed mixture. Stir in the M&M’s.

Spoon mixture in teaspoons onto a greased baking tray.

Bake at 180 C for 10 minutes or until lightly browned.
